Entrance Preview

I gave an entrance for pursuing my Master's in Social Work. I want to see a positive change in the present scenario of the society which is suffering drastically from innumerable social menace. And this is the reason I have opted for this particular course.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

It is quite an interesting course which gives me a lot of exposure to the societal structures, its norms and values, its problems, its strength and weaknesses etc. Social work work strives to bring a positive change in the society by empowering the people and with collective effort.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, we are allowed to do internship programs in some organizations like NGOs or some agencies who work for the welfare of the society. But till now we have not received any stipend.

Placement Experience

3

Till now we have no placement cell. Our previous passed out students managed to find jobs on their own.

Fee Structure And Facilities

In my course we have to pay an amount of Rs.50,000 in the 1st yr and Rs. 42,000 in the 2nd yr.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is quite equal for males and females. University allows dorm parties, the University holds various workshops and seminars within the campus to ensure the students' participation, there exists diversity among the students with regards to gender, religion, socioeconomic background, race, ethnicity and all live in harmony with a feeling of brotherhood

Hostel Facilities

3.5

I stay in a PG and I pay a monthly rent of Rs 4000. We are provided with 3 time meal per day both veg and non-veg included, 24×7 running water, electricity with inverter connection for the lights and so on.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, of course our centre had organized an alumni meet this year where we got the opportunity to interact with the passed out students . They shared their wonderful experiences with us which was quite helpful for us for our present and future.

Faculty

5

Our faculty members are indeed beyond description. They are the one who made us fall in love with this course. They are our motivators. And in due course of time I believe that they will help me in my journey of being a professional social worker.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen this course because I like this subject and nothing more. The Faculty And Students Ratio Would Be Like 1:40 Which Is Pretty Good And Impressing. The Faculties Are Well Qualified and Kind-Hearted and Friendly. Exams Occurred At Right Time And Very Strictly Managed. Exams Are Quite Easy To Pass.
