The admission process was average. I and my brother go to the college for admission and after checking our marks, my father's income certificate, and our ages they give us permission for being admitted in the college. As we are two brothers so college gives us some discount because of some financial crisis The minimum criteria for admission in the mechanical branch are 75% marks in PCM and 80% marks in top 5 subjects and you should be at least 18 to get admission here. On the day of admission, they call us for submitting the enrollment fees for the university and after submitting that fees and taking the ID card and hostel keys we admitted into the college
The faculty members in the mechanical branch are so talented and extraordinary their method of teaching is like they are teaching a KG class child. They help us in our subject, they taught us by both the method that is theory and practical, The average qualification of faculty members in this teacher is PHD. And they teach us until and unless our doubt become clear Exams as per the university guidelines happen four times and you have to study for passing these exams. On average you have to study one hour per day to get an average of 85%
The students became eligible for both offline and online placements from year 2nd or you can say that from 4th-semester students became eligible for the placements. The highest package from the college is around 900000 and the average package as per the college website is 4.5 lakh rupees The percentage of students getting placement is 95 to 98% I will go for an MNC after completing my degree Not talking about the companies that are coming here for the placements are Tata cement, Birla cement, Byjus and some of the new companies
The fee structure is the same for most of the students the fee is around 97500. But you get the additional discounts of 20 to 40000 depends upon your marks in UPTU exam for JEE exam. The scholarship college provides us called saksham which is provided by the UP Government for the students. If your marks are 65% above then you can easily grab the scholarship of amount 57000. I got a job as an event manager inside the college and the college pays me a good amount for that. There are many jobs present in the college if you want to do you can do easily
On the name of the annual fest, this college organised only the fresher's party.Tech fest happens around five to six times per year and basically they are conducted in between July to December The availability of books and generals in the library is so good as our college has the biggest library in the GB Nagar so most of the technicals books are present here. As I also play cricket for the college so this college provides us many facilities for the players like as goodies, tournaments, trophies and internal marks as per our activities. And some of our batchmates also selected for the national in badminton The social groups run by the students are - EMWYT and Peace of mind
Placements get started from the end of 3rd year. Companies like Google, Amazon and De Shaw also visit our campus but very few students get placed in those companies. It all depends on your skills. The highest package offered last year was 43lpa and the average package is 4.5lpa. Talking about the placement percentage, almost all students get placed from Amity Noida. I plan to do job after getting the degree and placement.
Students placements start from 6 semesters and go till the graduation of students. There is a number of companies which are visited in college named as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. The highest packages are going up to 35 LPA and the minimum is 3 LPA. Approximately 50% of students are placed during placements session. my plans after grat=duation are good for higher studies.
Cause I researched about it a lot and I genuinely got an interest in it through the point that 1.it's related to Food and 2. The competition is less in this field. But as for the faculty of our college is not so great having said they aren't that well educated in this field or they don't have proper knowledge about the subjects. Just a few of the teachers are good..! and having a less no. Of student is not that great. The qualification is of a Ph.D. but the knowledge is not that great. Teaching methods to be the talk of isn't good some teachers just rant the ppt and go. There are 2 exams in one semester one is internals and the end sem +practical exams. And to be honest the exams are not that difficult except the biotechnology papers.
It is a government University, approved by UGC and AICTE, providing you with most of the latest courses and upgraded syllabuses. And up to date lab facilities. The college also has CBCS System in action.
The college just started the B.Tech course, but they are already working to get companies for placements etc. Recently HCL visited the campus looking for interns and graduates.
I chose this university because it's a government University. It was near my home and getting admission here was very easy. the infrastructure seemed to be very nice and the reviews were quite satisfactory.
We don't get any job opportunities from the college. Studnets just try their luck and they just try their luck at every organisation. They aspire to get jobs at highly reputed MNCs but don't get exposure
Unique course structure and world class research facilities along with innovative and modern day approach to learning and the infrastructure probably one of the best in the country. The university has almost all the teachers as Phd holders and has an extremely huge campus and provides the best facilities by far as compared to the other colleges. Boys and girls both are totally free to do whatever they want with no curfew timings or dress codes. The university is heavily focused on research and has a invested more than 300 crores in the last 5 years. Opened in 2011 it is the youngest university by far in the top 50 nirf ranking making it the only university to be so. And moreover the most important thing is that unlike any other universities this university has no reservation critieria whatsoever because the university is established by the philanthropist Mr. Shiv Nadar with an aim to create it an Ivy league college of Indian and spends more than rs 200 crores annually out of which only around 20% fund comes from the fees so the institute doesn't need anyone's money. None of the above mentioned figures and numbers are inflated and all can be checked online.
