My experience in GU

I have chosen the Ganapat University to pursue B.Sc in food technology because I found that this university is one of the best universities in Gujrat and I also found that course fees is not very not high compared to other universities. I have applied for this course through online in this website https://admission.ganpatuniversity.ac.in/. I also came to know about the admission process from Gujarati and English dailies

Food Technology is a multidisciplinary subject which includes Food Nutrition, Food Chemistry, Food Microbiology, Sanitation & Hygiene, Food Preservation, Food Packaging, Food Analysis, Adulteration & Testing, Food Toxicology etc. I have keen interest on these matters and want to be food technology expert. So I chose this course and I got the opportunity to quench my thirst of knowing these serval course from my university . Because the course curriculum includes courses such as chemistry, biology, nutrition, biochemistry, microbiology and chemical engineering so as to study about different aspects of food and the changes which they undergo during its processing and at the time of its storage. Professors are very efficient and have in dept knowledge in their respective subjects. Some of my faculty members are- Dr. Ravindra Agarwal,Dr. Sanjay Pratap Singh, Dr. Ranjana Pande.

A very good opportunity of placement is provided by my university after completing the three years bachelor degree course in food technology. Campus placement have started from my final year of B.sc course. About 90% of my batchmates got placement in different well known companies with highest salary package of 6.5 LPA. The recruiting companies are- ITC, Nestlee, Amul, Pepsico, Haldiram, Dabur etc

The total fees for my course for three years is 1 lakh 80 thousand which includes Tution fees 30 thousands, Examination fees 15 Hundred, Enrollment fees 15 hundred and covocation fees 25hundred which is only for the last sem. My provides a number of scholarships on the basis of marks and caste and these are- Saksham Scholarship, About Mukhyamantri Yuva Swavalamban Yojona, Merit cum means Scholarship for minority students. I got the PRAGATI scholarship (in my tution fees) which is only for the girls student of GU with weak financial background.

My university is situated in a temperate climatic zone so the environment of the campus is very comfortable. The most remarkable thing of my university is its Central Library with wide range collection of books ,journals and periodicals and also have the facility of Inter Library Loan service, Online Public Access Catalouge(opac)and a favorable reading room. Besides I got the facilities of Bank, ATMS, Post Office, Medical Check up center, Cafateria, Shopping Center within the campus. I have used E-gate pass to enter into my campus and it is really appreciable thing as it maintains the saftey and security of the campus. Moreover I came across the students ,teaching and non teaching staffs with diverse culture. There are lots of workshop, seminars, annual cultural programs are happened in GU.
