Remarks

I choose Lovely Professional University because of reasonable fees structure and beautiful infrastructure of LPU.Good aspects may include Placements, gigantic campus, diversity.Admission is done from February to August every year by just doing registration.I visited lpu.co.in while selecting Lovely Professional University.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because of demand of software engineers in the upcoming years. The ratio of faculty: student ration is 1:60.Qualification of the faculty is Masters and PHD degree in specific area. Teaching method is very smart way. There are a lot of exams in a semester Mid Term and End term and passing the exam was not too tough.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 792000 per year

Internships Opportunities

3.5

I opted for internship from Internshala with no stipend. It was recommended for the course which I was pursuing in the 4th semester. I learnt cyber security and tested a website. I had to check for the loopholes in the website and fix them.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement rate of Lovely Professional University is good and student started to get placed from the 6th semester.Companies visited like Amazon, Optimiser, Quantipathi, Bosch, HCL Technologies, TCS, Wipro, etc.Highest package offered from Microsoft of 42 LPA, and average package is from 3LPA-6 LPA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

There is slight increments in the fees every year but your fees will be locked with or without the scholarship while the time of admission in your first semester.Lovely Professional University provides a lot of scholarship methods like, On the basis of 12th result, Military scholarship, IIT Mains scholarship, etc.I have a job of Graduate Trainee with stipend of 20000.

Campus Life

Lovely Professional University has the most fests than any other colleges/Universities.One World, One India and Youth Vibe are some annual fest. They are conducted in between September to February.Lovely Professional University has 4 floor of library.More than 100 clubs are there for extracurricular activities like sports.Students runs clubs like Kinghills Travels, Spectra, ABCD, SPSN, Megamind, etc.

Admission

First criteria was to do the registration for LPU-Nest and then give the test.Test pattern was multiple choice questions from the Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Verbal and Aptitude.I prepared from the syllabus of class 12th NCERT.

My Experince at Chandigarh University: Campus Life, Learning and Growth

Likes

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

University life

Likes

The infrastructure and faculty is very good. The university campus is very big containing different departments with the well qualified teachers. The teaching methods are very good and we can approach easily to the management for our queries.
The discipline is very well in the university campus. The proper follow up of rules and regulations is there in the campus. The rules regarding ragging are very strict and nobody will be forgive if caught in such offences.
The placement rate of the university is quite well in each and every department whether it is biosciences or engineering or any other department. The university ensures that each and every deserving student should get placement.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about university is the students are not allowed to use lifts because for some departments the classes takes place on top floors and it is very difficult for students to climb those floors multiple times.
The other thing I dislike is the problem of traffic outside the main campus gate in morning mad evening time. It take lot of time to get out of that traffic and it ultimately makes students late for their classes.
The last thing I dislike is there is no free transportation services for students inside campus because the size of university is very big and to go from one point to other the students have to walk a lot.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course offers theoretical as well as practical knowledge It prepare me very well for outside life and obstacles that I will face in outside world I think individual students must be asked for learning There is no such difficulty level
