jims gr noida-review

I choose this college because, firstly its is affiliated Guru gobind Singh Indraprastha university, Dwarka and I have read in many blogs that GSSUIP is best semi private university in the delhi because in past few years this university has gained some ranking in university ranking in India and moreover this university follow a simple and standard syllabus which is common to all colleges and institutes affiliated to it. talking about jims it has all the labs that a mechanical engineering course required and the exam pattern is also simple followed by 2 internals and one external examination, the college also has one basketball and badminton court, but the bad aspect is the location of the college it is 50 km form my house and 30kms from askardham so if have to reach then you need take bus the botanical garden to pari chowk then autorickshaw to college.

course curriculum is well defined by the university as it has 7 to 8 subjects including practical and theory according to university guidelines and it has semester system rather then year system, talking about my course its has all the basic subjects that are taught in mechanical engineering with extra subjects as personal developments and English writing courses. practical system is also defined by the university as number of practical to be preformed are written by the university and college follow that strictly. their is good faculty for each subject having their masters in that course what they are teaching to students which some practical and market knoweldge. basically college conduct 2 internal examinations first one is compulsory for students and second one is whose who got debarred or want to improve their internal score.

i have done internship at various organizations during my B.tech such as Indian railways, autoexpo as per internship their are plenty options and placement cell also provides some opportunity for the internship in 2 and 3 year

placements are average by the college, but college has less core mechanical companies other than cs and it jobs. average package goes around 4 to 5 lpa, if you are looking for computer science or information then plenty of companies but for core it has less

fee structure is as per university norms, no extra charges university has already defined course fee for each program and their is also scholarship programs for financially week students can avail scholarship on their performance basis in the examination by the delhi government as university is in delhi. Placements in this college is quite average not to up to mark as their are very less core companies in the campus placement program.

Life at campus is good decent crowd, you have many eating stalls and mall near buy college area moreover in Noida their are many cafes and pubs, playing parks. college also take part in various activities such as sports meet, annual fest and also hackathons organized by various organizations and institutions. college has two culture fest one of university and other of jims. it has two canteens separate for B.tech and law and overall infrastructure is good with ac classes and labs smart boards.

no online admission process which now replace by jee ranking that students just need to fill online application with jee rank and a cutoff list will be made on the basis of jee ranking. at my time i have fill a CET ( common Entrance test ) to and basis of that test we were allocated the colleges by different rounds of counselling
