Lovely Professional University is transforming education

The admission process was very smooth. The lpu team was available every time i was confused in the process. The counseling was done at their temporary office in Amritsar and it was also very swift and smooth as i already gave lpunest and was eligible for the course already.

I chose the course because of my previous interests and also the fact that it is a booming field. The faculty to student ratio is very good as there are 3000 faculty members moreover every student is provided a personal mentor who helps the student if he/she faces any difficulty. The faculty is educated. Almost all professors are doctorate. The process of exams and term in the time of pandemic was so smooth that I am grateful that I took admission in Lpu. The exams are hard. You have to earn every point of cgp. You study hard in Lpu, you get a good cgp.

As there is a huge number of companies visiting lpu, the number of internships offered is also huge. 6 months and 12 months internship are also ther. Lpu is very supportive in internships. You don't need to worry about mid-term and Ca's during your period of internship.

A lot of companies visit lpu and a good number of students are placed every year. My plan is to get a job in the IT sector after completing my Degree. The highest package is 42 lakhs till now and the average package is around 5-7 lakhs.

The fee for my course was 90000. I scored a 30% scholarship through lpunest. One can get more scholarships if you give the test a bit early. So my fees came down to 63000+ exam fees. The cost of studying in lpu is far less than other private universities of this level. That is a major reason for such student strength. Students can get other financial assistance like student loans and scholarships if the cgp is more than 9.5. And till now no price hike in fees is there in my third year.

Social life is great in lpu as there are students from so many different cultures. It is a world in itself. Students from almost all parts of the world and all parts of India. Some events happening everyday. Lpu has an event in University everyday as there are so many student clubs. An annual fest like One world and One India happens every year. Concerts, tech fests, sunburns, talent hunts, modeling events happen very very often. Classrooms are well equiped and AC. There is a very huge sports complex in lpu and various grounds for almost every sport with an Olympic-sized swimming pool.

Hostels are great bearing in mind the cost as compared to other private universities. There are private washrooms and bathrooms in every room. A balcony in every room. The rooms are spacious. The mess provided by lpu is ok but there are so many options to eat inside lpu only that you can never get bored. So my opinion is don't opt for the mess. There are n number if PG's just near lpu in an area called Law gate for every price range.
