Remarks

I had applied for IMT Ghaziabad, KJ Somaya, FORE school of management, GIM, UBS Chandigarh. The reason I selected UBS over others is mainly the ROI factor as in the tough time of covid I found it the best option also the facility and placement were as promising as other colleges. The minimum CAT Percentile required is around 86-89. The admission process was smooth being it the first time the college was conducting an online interview they delayed the procedure a bit but the rest was all good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was in MBA General. The student-to-faculty ratio is 9:1 and all are very qualified many of them are Ph.D. holders and have a good knowledge of their subjects. In a semester we had 2 Class tests 1 mid-semester test and 1 final exam held and the difficulty level was moderate.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities

All kinds of roles were offered for internships with an average stipend of 10000 and companies were Outlook Bajaj finance, EY Volvo Amul, and many more. Also, there are many live projects from various companies offered in our college.

Placement Experience

Students get the opportunity to be placed in the last semester and in our college, we have a 100% placement with an average package of 11.5 lakhs and all profiles offered like marketing HR Finance and companies that come for placements are EY, HDFC, DLF, Adani, Tcs, ICICI and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

The best part of the college is its fees are very low that is only 35000 annually. I got an internship in Marketing from the campus and the stipend was 10000. So the cost of the study is very low and ROI is very high.

Campus Life

As the education is in online mode I haven't been to college but from the seniors, I have heard that the campus is beautiful with a lot of facilities and the library is very big with lots of books and journals. There are many clubs like Placement, alumni, business cell, public relations, and despite online mode, they are regularly conducting events and competitions.

Interview Experience

As it was the first time the process was online due to a pandemic it got a bit delayed and we had a round of extempo where we were given a topic and we had to speak on it for 1 min and then the interview. The questions were regarding academics and some general questions.

Likes

I like the culture of the university where different people of different states meet and work together.
I like the support of the faculty members towards the students of the department. Also, there are lot of opportunities to grow.

Dislikes

I dislike the process system of the university as there so much paperwork to get things done m.

Placement Experience:

Placements are provided by the University and students' placement season starts in the semester 3rd. Companies like Adani, American Express, Airtel, Dabur and many more visit the campus with offers of more than 150. As of last the highest package offered was 58 LPA and the average is 13lpa with profiles like Area sales manager, product management, Business analyst etc. More than 92% of students placed last season. My plan is to get placed during the placements.

Entrance Preview:

i filled an online form at the site for MBA admission and gave an entrance test of Thapar University's Entrance Test anf after sitting for GD and giving PI i got selected and after filling the fees i got admission in this college.

A person needs to take the CAT entrance test and have graduated in any stream with a minimum of 50% for the general category and 45% for other categories. As there is no such cutoff for CAT. I took CAT exam for MBA procedure, the registration was done online, the students either in their second year of graduation or after passing the graduation can fill the form,around 200,000 applicant filled the form.
