Remarks

Admission criteria are really simple. You just need to go to lpu.com.in apply for lpunest that is the entrance exam for university after applying successfully you have got the message about your online exam date then you give your exam on the allotted date. After the result came you see you are eligible or not and also according to your result you also got a scholarship on basis of your percentage in lpunest exam. As I am pursuing B.Tech CSE after my result came I fill my information ask on lpu.com.in like 10th 12th mark sheets etc after I completed my form then I submitted my fees ask by University for 1 semester and they alloted my date to come to university for further paperwork and that's it.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose CSE I have interest in coding related field since my childhood. In LPU faculty student ratio is around 6:1 and talking about faculty so, faculty is very good and supportive they teach you every topic in deep details and also you can ask your query even after you are at Hostal lpu have app name lpu live in this app you can ask any query to your faculty at any time.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

After the 4th semester you have the mandatory course of Summer training in which if you got programming then you have to choose for internships in your programming language or if you got niche technology then you have to work for any field you want and mention on the list given by the university.

Placement Experience

After 5 or 6th semester, students are ready for placements and internships as we know lpu give maximum placements to their students there are 500 to 700 companies visited lpu for hiring students and for internship also a recent year from student Tanya Arora grab the placement of 42 lakh from Microsoft. For placement, you have to have 6 to 7 cgpa for sitting for the maximum placement exam.

Fees and Financial Aid

As I pursuing b.tech CSE so, the per semester fee for CSE is 90000 but I have got the scholarship of 30% from my lpunest exam so, I just need to pay 63000 rs per semester. But as fees are very high for some students so, lpu also offers students some policy's like if any students have a financial problem at their home then he/she got more time to submit the fees than all students in college.

There are many programs held at lpu approximately every day there are one two programs happens As we know lpu has the largest university in India so, there are many celebrities visited for permission for their movies, songs etc and lots of songs are also shooter inside lpu campus. And also LPU has the biggest library of 3 floors where you can find any book of your choice.LPU has 3 big playgrounds for your respective sports

Hostel Facilities

Hostal at lpu is very clean and have lots of services you got laundry, atm, canteen, mess, waiting room, lift, wifi and many more things every day cleaning done for room and corridor And if you want to rent PG as per your choice you can get PG just outside lpu there are many PG. As everybody knows mess food is not good at all. But you can eat food from different food stalls there are 100 stalls in which you get every type of food as per your choice.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
