Being student of ikgptu I welcome you all. This is just awesome university

I got 91 percentile in Jee main 2020 so I was searching for college in South India but my brother who is in Canada suggest I apply in ptu. Ikgptu main campus has good infrastructure, placement and NIRF ranking too so I applied for CSE in ikgptu but in 1st round of counselling I got ECE branch but in the next round I got CoE which is a part of CSE. That's my admission process.

I am good at coding and I love to spend time with the computer. University has a lot of faculty and when you talk about student ratio it's average. Most of our faculty were PhD holder. And most of the teacher are so cooperative especially in the CSE department you will get help from every faculty. Well due to the Covid pandemic there was a delay in the exam and this thing happen with most of college. Although questions will be easy we all know government college will not give you more marks as compared to private. Sometimes it's hard to even get 24 which is passing marks. But overall I think it's one of the best colleges in Punjab and the Infrastructures is just awesome.

They give you several projects and so many teachers like satvir sir will appropriately guide you. And senior they are so cooperative. Even the faculty was so helpful in nature who will guide and help you make the project.

After the 6th semester students is eligible for campus placement but before that, we have to Excel in our field. Some companies that I had seen were local companies of Punjab, Infosys, attach, tata, HCl. Around 70-80 % of student get placed in the 2020 passing batch. And the highest package was 12.8 lakh as per my information. My plan after my degree is to get a job at Amazon.

As compared to other collage this university has an average fee. Also, he charges a small amount for lab or other circular activity. I was awarded a 50% scholarship on a +2 basis. It was merit based scholarship. But the university also provides several scholarships like PMS, Central scheme, patents less.

Due to the Covid pandemic yet we have got 2 fest and fresher party. inside this university you will get a library there you will get several books even several novels, subject related book. inside the university, you will see 3 basketball ball court and 1 ground for football, for tennis, and an open gym We have created a page on Facebook "Punjab technical university(p.t.u). Also our senior had created a group on Instagram named ptu confessions, ptuwale hai, ptumames_cafe and many more.

The hostel facility is just awesome. Everyday floor cleaner will clean the floor with phenyl. Every room is 2 seater with separate bathroom and balcony. In mess, you will daily change the menu but most of the time in the morning you will get paratha with cheese around 8 am. Then at lunch, you will get fried basmati rice with daal and vegetables also salad and sometimes chole bhature. Around 5 pm you will get tea with bread and at night there will both fried rice and roti also milk in the morning and night .and you will get healthy food there. Hostel fee is affordable I mean only 15000 per year and the process is so simple just fill a form and pay the fee you will get your room
