Know My College

I came to know this University through an advertisement in a newspaper. Later I got a chance to visit the campus that amazed me. Furthermore, I got a chance to speak to some faculties that were really good and we talked about some courses and placement in a brief. To get into this college is a piece of cake. You just need to pass an entrance test called LPUNEST or you can get admission through your IIT mains exam marks and will get a scholarship accordingly. One can get upto a 50% scholarship based on the marks of LPUNEST. The campus is too big and beautiful. Every facility is available inside the campus. You can buy all the required electronics inside the campus with better service than any other places. We got many food courts, Restaurants, shopping malls, Domino's as well. The admission process was time taking but was too easy. You just need to take your proper real documents and the rest of the work is done by the University itself. After admission, we got a trip to various places.

We got a total of 8 semesters in BTech Engineering. Each semester is of probably 5 months. In five months or in a semester two Major exam are held. One in mid te and another is end term. We also get regular continuous assessment (CA) or better called a class test. In each subject total of three CAs are held in which the best two is counted for final marks. Each exam is or class tests are not so tough. Everything is asked whatever we studied in class. It is quite easy to score 8 cgpa if you are consistent in your studies. We got libraries where we get all the necessary books. Also, faculties are always there to resolve our doubts and any other problems as well.

In each semester we get a project which mainly focuses on group or teamwork and learning motive. We get to know how to organise things and to present in front of others in a better way. Faculties are always there to help us out.

There is a high chance of a student to get placed as the University prepare us well and also there are a large number of companies visit the campus and recruit a great number of students from each branch.

The total fee without any scholarships costs around 90000 for each semester. And hostel fee ranges between 40000 to 90000 for a year or 10 months as per facilities you want. The mess costs around 30000 for two semesters or a year. To avail of any scholarships, you need to appear in a test named LPUNEST by which one can get a scholarship upto 50% but intuition fee only. There is no scholarship in hostel charges or mess charges.

There are numerous clubs available at the University. The most famous NCC and NSS is also available here. It provides a great opportunity for the students to get involved in social work and get the experience of real life. There are other many clubs that focus on extra hidden talent inside of a student like music, dancing, athlete, painting, sports and so on.
