Remarks

The admission process was very smooth. I was preparing for Jee but unfortunately got no good NIT or IIT so decided to take Admission in LPU. As in this covid pandemic time, all the process related to Admission was done online from submitting forms to fees. I secured 94.3 percent in 12th so for me there is no need to give LPUNEST, I got a 35% scholarship of program fees on basis of that.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I always wanted to become a software engineer that's why I choose B.tech in computer science and engineering. There are 70 total students in class divided into two groups A and B For most of the subjects, different teachers are there for both groups. All faculty members are well experienced and are very professional in terms of teaching. Teachers are very active outside the class also they never deny any help even after or before class. Exams are conducted two times in a semesters MTE And ETE i.e midterm and end-term examination both are objective type exams Apart from the exams, there are assignments regularly at on average there are 25 assignments in a semester. Exams are not difficult to pass, faculty members provide a lot of study materials and also practice tests before exams so that helps a lot.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internship in various companies coming to colleges offering roles of junior analyst, programmers, and trainee in many Tech roles with a stipend of max 80,000 is there Projects starts in 3th semester itself giving a lot of time to students to be confident till final placements. There is also a placement team which assists students for better results

Placement Experience

3

Students become eligible in the 6th semester for placement and internships. 131 companies hiring from IITs are also coming to Lpu The highest package offered is 42 lakhs per annum by Microsoft followed by 28 lakhs by amazon The average package of college is 7 LPA. More than 85 percent of students are placed through college placements. I wanted to work in the IT sector after my degree want to pursue master's degree side by side.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarships are provided on three basis LPUNEST JEE MAIN PERCENTILE CLASS 12TH PERCENTAGE For 2020 fees per semester is around 96000 without any scholarships. Apart from this college also charges 2500 per semester as examination fees. College also provides study loans from the various banks you have to fill the form and submit to the college for various formalities. College also provides offline campus jobs but now college is closed due to covid so nothing about that.

Campus Life

4

LPU has one of the biggest Campuses in India. Social life at Lpu is one of the best among various colleges in north India. Various Fest related to writing, singing, dancing, and many more is conducted from time to time. Even every month there is a webinar which is taken various big successful members of various companies and promotes entrepreneurship and options after college. A big Library is there and many libraries are there among various blocks providing all facilities. Classrooms are air-conditioned with all digital facilities like speakers, projector, etc The college has its own gym, swimming pool, tennis court, football ground, and various indoor games also. Senior students run many groups for social events This year there is an event going on in the best section of 2k21 which has many events.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
