Remarks

The university is all over good. The placement is great in every sector. also the faculty is good and the campus is good. every facility is there. the student in the hostel gets almost every facility in the campus. almost every game is there for students. the mall and kiosk for lunch during classes and canteen is good. also the faculty interaction with the student is great. the way of there teaching is good.

the faculty is great and the course curriculum is also good. the way of their teaching is also good. the slides they use to teach in class is also provided to the students for their further refrence. also the course syllabus is provided to the students in the beginning of the semester to make them prepared before.

There are several companies that come for placements in the university. from mnc to start-up. the stipend of the internship varies from the job profile to the degree of the student. student can apply for as many companies he/she wants and then accept the offer from the company if gets selected.

the palcement is very good. the institute tries it's level best to make all their students to get a job from the university. also, they give job to the student if they want to work in the campus. from 3rd semester the students can enroll in placemnets. Cognizant, Capgemini, TCS, Byjus, Amazon, Goldsman Sach, Microsoft and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

the fee structure is very nominal as compared to other private universities. also according to their 12th or say jee mains rank they give some scholarship which is good. now the placement of the univerity is also very good. last year in 2020 the highest package of the b.tech cse was 42 lakh. if the student is having any kind of financial crisis he/she can apply for the loan from the bank. also there are some campus jobs which one can do while summer vacation.

Campus Life

The campus life is superb there. one will not feel that he/she is in college. it seems like it's a big society kind of thing where there are big residential buildings, malls, playing areas, gym, local shops to buy things or to eat something. there are many clubs where you can participate according to your hobby or interest.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is also very hygenic and well furnished where in you only have to take mattress. and get settled there. you get attached bathroom in the room also you get the almira. there are diferent options of rooms like A.C, non- A.C, cooler, Non-Cooler, single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or dormatory.

Hostel Fee: INR 44500 per year

Interview Experience

yes while the admission you will give a test named as LPU Nest, also if you're applying for the MBA course then you'll have to give an interview. also, the interviewer will ask you some basic general questions depending upon your field of study.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

LPU's REVIEW WITH HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

Likes

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
