Remarks

The admission process was quite simple, based on JEE mains ranking. You have to apply online in which you have to 3-4 colleges listing DTU NSIT IIIT Delhi and IGDTUW. After that, there be a counseling session in which ranks are disclosed which are available for the requested branch. There will be document verification and after payment of the fee you get admitted to the college

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I have a great interest in computer science so I chose this. Faculty are very polite in my department in comparison to others, as the electronic department have more strictness. All the faculty are well educated most of them are assistant professors and had their higher education from well-renowned institute like IITs, BITs, Vellore, etc Term exams are always happening on time and the paper setting was very well organized as faculty always incorporated the question with real-life scenarios which also was well taught in the classes. The difficulty level of exams is moderate but you be very attentive then you can easily score really good marks.

Internships Opportunities

5

Most of the batch selected for the on-campus internship program, there are some other opportunities like for internship faculty and the university itself provide students faculty under guidance internship on the project provided to the university by the Delhi government or central government. I did my research internship in the national informatics center under a director on the identification of LGBTQ profile on Facebook to provide an accurate number of LGBTQ community people so that they be benefited from the government scholarship and schemes which are for them. The outcome was the software that we developed and that is used for other groups' identification.

Placement Experience

3.5

After 6th-semester students are eligible for campus placement. All big companies visit the university due to its high reputation like Google Facebook Amazon Samsung Delhi, Samsung Noida, Samsung Bangalore, hike, JP Morgan, bains, PSUs like DRDO, etc are also there. The highest offer was around 1 cr for international placement Average placement is 10-11 lakh/PA Most companies are open for all they are in search of talents. I will go for civil services examination after the graduation

Fees and Financial Aid

As Delhi technological university is a government institution so fee policy and its hike as maintained by the Delhi government. The fee is less and affordable as it comes under government universities which is much better than private universities. There are a number of the scholarship program which can be avail both are available on Delhi government site and university website. University also finds experimental projects. 98% placement is computer science department or my department, 2% are those who wished not to join job as they are planning for further higher studies.

Campus Life

4.5

Campus life is pretty amazing with little night-out restrictions. Engifest is the annual fest generally happen during the month of Feb Yuvaan, Sahitya, robofest and techfest are other cultural fests which university organized around the year The library is big and one can find all kinds of study material. Classroom renovation is done yearly and we'll add high technology classrooms with biometric and fully Air-conditioned. Several societies are there, department wise which organises events throughout the years, so college life is full of extracurricular activities. IOSD is one society for computer students one can find it and enroll themselves. Rest social group forums and clubs one can find on the official website (dtu.ac.in) with the students in charge contact details.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.
