Entrance Preview

I had to clear NATA exam to get admission in this college. Along with NATA , for archotecture Must have 50% in Physics Chemistry & Maths in 12th board exams

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is good for the first 4 years. Last year is a bit too much as there is 3 major topics to be cleared along with several other minor topics, this being addition to the B.arch Thesis submission and black book.

Internships Opportunities

In 4th year after 6 months in college, we do have a compulsary internship programme , but college does not provide or relate with any professionals officially. We are given a holiday of 5 months in which we have to do an internship , later on which a jury is taken under Professional Practice.

Placement Experience

1

Atleast in Architecture department where i study there are no campus interviews and we dont get selected directly after graduating as we have to wait for license we get from C.O.A. There might be a lot of students getting placed at college faculty itself , as this is an ongoing trend in my college.

Admission

Must have 50% in Physics Chemistry & Maths in 12th board exams. Must clear NATA with minimum 50% marks. The notification was produced on the website and the notice board 2 months prior to admission process start date. Forms can be filled in the computer room itself or college provides forms to be taken away that can be filled and submitted.

Faculty

4.5

Good faculty , South Indian mostly, brilliant minds and great teaching. They hire professional from different parts in India who are specialized in teaching specific subject. A normal architect not teaching all subjects in general makes it an ideal college to be in.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements during their 9th semester i.e 4th year of our 5year degree. Hafeez contractor, sanjay puri architects, CP kukreja architects, etc are the companies visited 75% of students are placed every year is what I've heard from my seniors tho I'm still not sure since being in ny first year I've not reached there yet My plan after getting the degree is to join a firm and after getting ample experience i plan to establish my own firmm. Hopefully i achieve that. I do have faith????

Course Curriculum Overview:

Teaching for architecture is for 5 years divided into 10 semester. There is very deep knowledge given in this 5 year Technical and hands on experience is given to students so that they will be good future architect. I think that we should shift more to softwares rather than sheets. Exams are after every 5 months so thats easy to prepare and learn.

It is really an honour to be a student of this esteemed Academic organisation. Although it is not at the top of the ladder yet, but soon with great faculties and great students , we will surely reach the highest positions of Indian colleges. It is one if the best choices of colleges for to-be Architecturers.

College is an institution for learning and yes it does pretty well in those terms. Faculties can get a little edgey if you are not on their good books. Submissions are expected on time irrespective if there is quality work or not.you get marked pretty well if you stay interactive and regular to college. You can manage to get around 60% marks by just attanding lectures and trying to get the submission on time. If you put your self in the submission getting an 80% wont be difficult.
