I'm currently pursuing B.Tech in Information Technology from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad. The college offers B.Tech in various branches like CSE, CS, IT, CSIT, ECE, EN, EI, Mechanical, Civil. The college has also brought some specialization courses in filed of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. Akgec offers admission on the basis of UPSEE and Direct Admissions on the basis of Class-12 result. I personally took admission through UPSEE counselling. They guide you at every step what to do and what not. If you are going through Admissions based on Class-12th result, you will have to fill the Admission form and you will be called upon if you fill their cut-off and admission criteria, after which you will have to go through a PI, if they wish for. The college has a lush green environment.The library offers books every sem.The surroundings are very serene,calm and clean. I was personally interested in the course and was eligible for the same. I took admission through UPSEE counselling. This course is of 4 Years and students get to study new subjects every semester. There are various labs for every branches according to their requirements. The student -professional ratio varies from 60:1 to 75:1 in theory lectures. While, 30:2 to 35:2 for practical laboratories. Most of the Professors are PHD, while some of them are Post-Graduate. Every teacher has their own unique style of teaching and expressing themselves. There are internal exams conducted by college and external exams conducted by the University. The college is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow.

Students become elegibke for placement from 3rd Year. Many companies visit the college for on-campus placement. Some of the major one are TCS, Infosys, DLT Labs, Newgen and many more. Around 80-85% students get placed.

Fee structure varies from 1.25 lakhs to 1.5 lakhs per year. Scholarships are given by the government to economically poor students. The students may even take loans from the bank and fulfill their requirement. The college also has its own hostel, which are easily available, if you are interested.

The life at the campus is just amazing and your friends make it awesome. The campus is about 40 acres in itself. The campus has lush greenery everywhere. You can found trees and plants where ever you see. The huge library offers books on various generes and students are allowed to access it anytime. College also offers course subject books to students every semester from the library so that one does not need to spend any extra money on course books. And, books of previous semester are taken back when you are in new semester. There are various clubs at college for many domains like Music, Dance, Acting, Fashion Clubs, And ample of Technical clubs based on coding environment and new emerging technologies.
