Likes
- Things to appreciate is the clean campus, well maintained buildings ,good labs and also a library. Campus is disciplined and focused on academics with a decent coding culture.
Dislikes
- Campus life is very limited, there are very few fests ,very strict rules regarding attendance and a less vibrant environment.
- faculty quality also varies, some teachers are good but many are non engaging.
Course Curriculum Overview
1) the curriculum covers core engineering fundamentals early,building a strong base ,includes electives and major/minor courses. 2)it prepares us moderately for the real world applications because it focues mostly on foundational subjects. 3)improvement needed is , adding more updated technology and industry oriented subj and a practical exposure to internships. 4)exam happen in every 1-1.5 months gap , the exam are of 4 types in every semester , st1,st2 test, put exam and university exam.
Placement Experience
1) students become eligible for placements from 7th semester onwards. 2) many companies visit our college like asbl,shl,deloitte,infosys,hcl tech , To the new and many startup based companies 3) highest package on campus was around 14 lpa and average package was around 4-4.5 LPA. 4) around 600-700 students got placed out of 1100 students. 5) my plan is to do masters.
Fees and Financial Aid
for 1st year ,its rs142156 tution fees including all (caution fees,registrartion fees,admission ,development fees) for 2nd year ,its rs119656 for 3rd year,it is rs 116156 for 4th year ,it is rs 116256 ,including all the charges fees is same for all the categories ,except for those under the fee wavier scheme, they have to deposit amount of about 40000 rs per year scholarship are granted to students. scholarship is from the UP government for students whose families income is less than 8LPA. The scholarship amount ranges from 65000 to 75000 fees for the complete course is about 4.9-5 lakhs+ if someone takes hostel for 4 years ,then about 9.5 lakhs in total.
Campus Life
1) there are very few fests happening , like there is kite flying festival ,diwali festival ,holi festival happening in college, where as there are many technical events happening in college organized by various clubs in our college. They are held all around the year. 2) library covers a wide range of books and journals. books of almost all authors are available and can be issued. 3) each class includes a smartboard, whiteboard for teaching ,the classrooms are quite spacious. 4) many sports events happen in college like saksham event that is a intra college events, inter college table tennis tournament ,volleyball and cricket matches.
Hostel Facilities
1)each hostel room includes a bed , tubelight , 2 switchboards and a balcony,but there is very strictness regarding the appliances. no electric appliances like kettle ,press are allowed and if found then penalty needs to be given. 2) mess food quality is quite good, daily 4 times meals are given breafast is from 7:15-8:15 am,lunch from 12:40 -2 pm ,evening meal from 5-6 pm and dinner from 8-9:30 pm 3) we can register for the hostel by contacting with the warden ,but hostel is not quite affordable 4) hostel fees is around 120000-140000 for every year for one seater,double seater and triple seater rooms.
Admission
1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good.
Faculty
1) faculty to student ratio is 1:70 , like for a class of 70 students, there is 1 faculty, the faculties are approachable mostly. 2) in every semester in subjects there are 5 units to cover, there are mainly three types of exam - a) st1 exam which is of 25 marks ,covering first 2 units b) st2 exam which is of 50 marks ,covering unit 3,4,5 c) pre univeristy exam of 70 marks covering the whole syllabus d) university exam of 70 marks Mostly all students clear the exam. The course curriculum is not quite relevant according to the recent technological development.
Night Life
1) there is gym in boys hostel , but there is no late night cafeteria. 2) nightlife is restricted ,students are not allowed to go outside hostel after 10pm. 2) college timings are from 8:30 am to 4pm from monday to friday 3) hostel in time for boys is 10 pm ,for girls it is 7pm. 4) famous hangout places are sanchi street. 5) it not locally safe to roam around at night after 10 pm
