Remarks

The process was easy, I got selected in 1st counseling and then within 3 days, I was supposed to book my seat by paying fees and verifying my documents in college, and receive an allotment letter. I took admission via lateral entry program and my cgpa was 8.86 , there were 4 rounds of counseling the lowest % admission was 62% !

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The faculties were very good and most of them were Ph.D., but they had the same old teaching method and egoist nature. Guest faculties were not that good some of them were good but some of them were not. The exams were really hard to pass the hard and easy ratio was 60:40, Question papers were not like RGPV they make it mostly numeric questions and hard.

Internships Opportunities

4

For an externship you have to fill a Google form for the semester which consists of internship, you can choose 5 companies, and then you have to submit 5 letters to TPO with the name of those companies you filled in the google form, TPO will sign them and give them to you. Now you can go to companies by yourself and show them the letter and get an internship easily. Companies and industries like CRISP , BHEL ,NTPC ,BSPL were the priorities of a lot of students. We made two projects one of them was a patent for our senior project which was an automated floor cleaning machine and the second was an automatic electric generator breaker.

Placement Experience

3.5

The marks were really good in 1 year of college among 105 students 80% scores above 80 but after 1st year it gets down at 50 % students go above 80. The placement cell was not that good but because it's a government institution and the oldest engineering college in India a lot of companies came with a good package.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees here are very cheap in MP for Engineering and ST/SC/OBC students can get a scholarship worth 28K/ anom , you can also earn money by assisting teachers and lab Technicians for their work. All over including exam fees which were 1500 per semester ut would cost you around 27K per year of your Engineering journey.

Campus Life

3.5

There were sports committee run by senior students and faculties, sports like basketball and football ,cricket ,kho-kho , TT, kabaddi etc were performed and had teams for every sport . 5 mazor ground and 1 big crocket ground where 500 people can sit and enjoy the game . Achievement like inter college sports tournament were won by our college team in basketball and football. There were separate teams for boys and girls for every sport. Every entertainment sector had its club-like for poets, literature club , sports club , dance club , i personally was in media club for magazine and college newspaper blog. The life was very good at the campus, you can sit all day at majnoo gully and chill but the canteen was not good and most of the time due to the same issue it was closed. Every student was free to paint and show his imagination through colors into the wall of garden. I make the iron man.

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.
