Remarks

Great for business education, Known for good placement records. Secured an education loan from HDFC credila. College has good campus experience for MBA students and is residential most case studies produces than any other college in Asia.

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is actually great the only thing I missed is being present in the live classes and not online classes, academic wise the college provides good exposure to the industry and the syllabus is also up-to-date, faculties were good but it is hard to judge based on just online classes.

Have opted for Mycaptain internship as a digital marketer and sales promotion

Placement Experience

The placement seems to be good and places jobs to around 95% of the students and since I'm still in 1st year and have not experienced any company coming to our batch for placement but have heard from our seniors that the placement record of the college is good

College Events

Events are covered virtually and mostly on social media platforms like instagram and Facebook and that's pretty much our campus life yet the clubs of our college conduct events and competition online the clubs involves about 60-70% of students from the college that make the event possible

Campus Life

Have still not experienced campus life since the lockdown. But hope the college opens soon and have real life experiences in the campus and get to know things better and also the hostel Life of IBS Hyderabad

Admission

Gd round was good and was very smooth, topic was "is virtual studying for students better than live classes?". Interview questions were basic and mostly related to current affairs and reasons to join the course and your intro.

Getting Good Internships.

Likes

College environment is most scenic and that greenery atrracts everyone.
Faculty teaching style. all faculty always follow to cover both theoretical and practical things.
Freedom of dress code. in this college there is no specific dress code while anybody cross their limits in dressing they must be punished.

Dislikes

Canteen: College canteen is some what good but would be wonderful when increasing the menu and seating.

Placement Experience:

As a second-year student, I have a very small idea of the placement. Based on my perspective, 3rd-year students get internships, and final-year students get placements. Based on my understanding, last year the highest package in our college was 20 LPA. hope this college will train me in that way and at filnal i will also got placed with a good package.

Teaching style: There are wonderful faculty here in this college. who guides us through rather than syllabus.

Cafeteria: in our college cafeteria is small space. so it is need to exteneded.

My Experience in College.

Likes

The academic courses is updated as per the market needs so that the students have the market knowledge of the field they are opting for.
The college has a really good equiped libradry that has all the required rources to refer for academic research

Placement Experience:

The college provides 100% placements to students. Only if the students have 85% attendance and have not received any placements or been placed will the college refund the entire course fee. There are many corporate training classes that help in becoming corporate-ready.

Likes

One thing I like about this college is how the environment,good weather as there are many trees and garden to seat and have some fun.
The next I like about the college is about our faculty and the infrastructure.there are amazing teacher to explain the some of the toughest subjects ,lab are too good .
If some like to prepare for some other examinations like gate,civils .we have lot of free time to prepare for all other exams

Dislikes

Even though we have a good ground, there are many people in the ground who would distrub u ,these people come here for jogging and playing different sports and but they are not from our college
Wifi is not good the signal strength in our college is not good and we don't get good internet even from the mobile networks too.this is more irritating many times.
As it is open campus many vehicles would be passing and many unknown people would there around.we just have only one technical synopsis,as many private colleges have more than one fest.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good, many of my friends have placed but I haven't placed yet and I am searching for the job ,and I have been applying for the placements and I have been for interview in some of them and not selected for the job.

Main thing is patient load is good so you will learn more
Hands on opportunity for pgs to do lscs is high ,so we will become very good at lscs surgery

Dislikes

Work load is high so you need to sacrifice your sleep in duties .shift time to sleep will be less
Hospital is less hygienic,mainly basic investigation like CBP lft and RFT pt inr will be done at any time

Course Curriculum Overview:

My internship at osmania medical College made me understand that I will like obgy. Mbbs students will do 6 weeks of internship in obgy department. We will learn how to perform deliveries and do episiotomies and suture them. Pg in obgy from osmania will be good enough to face the real world but mainly we learn obstetrics. For gyneacology surgeries we have less exposure. We will get opportunity to assist in total abdominal hysterectomy in final year few times (around 2 to 3 times) Exam will be in final year and most of pgs will pass the exam

I didn't apply to any other colleged since I was focused on OBS Hyderabad. The addmission process is straightforward. You can apply through CAT, NMAT and IBSAT with IBSAT offering a scholarship of two lakhs to the eligible students. My admission process started after i had filled up the college form. The forms are available online as well as offline. The cost of the application fee was INR 2000, after which i was called for an interview on a given date. During this time i paid another INR 20,000 and the admission was based on merit of my class 12 performance with the minimum requirement being 60% with no admission test required for my BBA program. During the interview, I was asked about why I wanted to take BBA and study here.
