Remarks
The basic criteria to apply for MBA was to get above 70 percentile in CAT/CMAT/XAT. My score was good enough to apply for the Vellore campus as well as for the Chennai campus. The cost of the application form was 1500 INR and the whole application form process was online (even before the pandemic). Then on that same platform, there was an option to select centre and time slot for interview from available options. First, there was a GD round and then there was PI. Topics of GD are usually current affairs based and it completely depends on your communication skills to get a good score. PI is very subjective it completely depends on details that are provided by students in the application form.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very standard and sophisticated. The courses are high level and complicated. Exams are frequently conducted. The university exams are held once ina year and mid exams are held in between. The exam times are usually very hectic. The faculty and students ratio was in the VIT Business School campus is 1:25. The faculty is well experienced and qualified.
Fees and Financial Aid
I found the fee to be feasible but I guess everyone might not be able to afford it. The scholarship was provided but only for the students who are performing good in either their entrance exam or in the college semester. The loan is taken by me from the Indian bank and I did it by myself Did does not ask the college for help but they do have partnered up with the banks in case the student wants to take a loan via college.
Campus Life
The campus was a little bit small as we have just a building when I was studying. But the canteen was best and other facilities like wifi were also in a great situation. Taking about sports facility we have a separate sports complex away from the campus where you can go and play. They use to do a lot of management programs within and away from the campus. Music festivals also happened there but as I told you we have a compact campus we need to go to the stadium to see. Participation was done in a great manner as everyone liked that part of the year.
