Remarks

Here i got admission in this college through management quota. And this was a very short process to get admission.First i go there and discuss about various courses then i choose diploma mechanical engineering and they checked my percentage in secondary examination. Bcz the admission criteria is min. 30 percent. Then i fill up the application form and got admission in this college. You have to carry your secondary examination marksheet, admit, pasport size photocopy.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course bcz im interested in variois types of machine,working of machines.There are many available experienced faculties.Almost all the teachers in this dept are completed their Phd. Degree. The faculties are very frank,and also very helpfull for students.Any time i can call them for any doubts nd they clear the doubt in this call. And all the teachers in this department use a very easy way to teach us and we understood that very easily. In this course two internal exam and one semester exam is conducted by the board.The exams are very easy to clear the teachers will help you as much as possible.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 500000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The provided company for internship was flipkart.The stipend is 15000 per month this internship was for 3 months. And students made various types of engineering projects like hydraulic press, refrigerator model etc.

Placement Experience

From 5th semester students are eligible for campusing. Badve autotech pvt ltd. A1 fence products pvt. Ltd. Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

If cleared the jexpo exam and after councilling you got this college the the fees will be 19000 pre semester and if you take admission through management quota then your fees will be 25000 per semester. And there are a library nd here you get all the books for free no extra charges ar deducted from you.

Campus Life

There is a libray for students where we can get almost all the engineering books for free of cost.In this college a amazing tech fest is conducted every year in between jun-july month.And almost every students are participated in this tech fest from each and every department. And also an annual sports is conducted which includes cricket,football, racket, tabletenis and so on. And a social group is also created, by the dept in facebook where all the tech fest photo, annual photos are posted.

If u are week in any subject they will help you in all possible ways.
They conduct many seminars of highly qualified personals and many industry visit
They have every labs and workshops with highly qualified mentor

Dislikes

They have very low holidays. They even do classes on Saturdays

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't know about any other college but my college have industry orient syllabus. And the teachers were highly qualified and experienced. They don't use the conventional way of theaching. They believe in practical knowledge. The deficulty level slightly increases per exam. 45min alloted for every internal exam..

I love overall atmosphere of the college. The mesmerizing playground of the college is still in my heart.The college consists three buildings for teaching different branches of engineering.The buildings includes labs also
The faculty teachers of each branch are one of the prime reasons of college being a superb college.The faculty teachers are well behaved and exceptionally knowledgeable.They teach the students important life lessons along with the engineering topics
The availability of study materials for the students in our college is huge.Our college have a library which stores more than ten thousand of books for different branches of engineering and of different topics, written by renowned writers

Dislikes

Sadly, There are several things that I dislike about our college. Concern related to drinkable water is one of them. The quality of drinkable that comes from storage is not upto the mark.Although two new water purifiers are installed in our college
Secondly, Our college-buildings need a little bit of repairing because the buildings are reasonably old enough to cause damage. Some of the classrooms are really damp and wet.This issue needs to be fixed.
The equipments and machineries installed in our laboratories are a bit old and that's why they don't operate properly. So I think that some of the machineries and equipments need to be replaced for betterment in learning of the students

Placement Experience:

After passing 4th semester L&T, TATA, NIPPON STEEL, JSL, JSW, BRAVO etc Highest package provided is around 8-10 LPA and average package provided is around 4 LPA. Usually and L&T and JSL provides high packages Almost 70-80% of students I'm going to take admission in a BTECH college for persuing Bachelor in Engineering degree

Likes

The college campus is very good as a student I love this college
The teachers are very helpful and kind to us.
Every department has a seperate building.

Dislikes

The electricity is not good it's keep gone without any reason.
Sometimes the water is gone because of the college department

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teachers are very sincere for the students and they gave us suggestions for every exams and help in any kind of study related problems. I guess it's a little difficult to get pass in the college many students got backlog in this year specially in physics department.

Likes

Faculty Members are very Polite and Helpful.
Campus look is very nice and beautiful and wide area.

Dislikes

Placement rate is low in our college and it does not provide any internship opportunities.

Placement Experience:

From final year, the companies start visiting our campus for placements, Very few companies arrives and with an average package of 2 Lakhs per annum in our college. The placement rate is overall very low and there is a room for improvement in this.

Good opportunities of studies

Likes

I like the teaching method and also like the student friendly behaviour of faculty members in my college
I think due to huge infrastructure, as a student we will thankful for using all digital opportunities like wifi, digital library etc
Placement services of my college is very high so that's why It is number one Polytechnic college of West Bengal

Dislikes

Some subject have no right teacher, I hope the vacant seat of teacher will fill up soon.
I don't like the whole system of management of APC Roy Polytechnic college

I belong a lower middle class family so I knew that it is diploma Engineering which is held by jexpo entrenced exam that is quietly easy for me to qualify a govt college. In daily study base i undergoes with my study. Teaching method of my college teacher are quite good but management system of this diploma are very bad.

Likes

Big campus ground and many free space to relax between study.
Best in class labs with proper equipments.
Free wi-fi available at college building.

Dislikes

TMPSL claims 80-90% placement but last year only 50-55% got placed.
Under knowledge teachers. Many of the teachers are interns.
TMPSL has a huge library but most of the books are outdated. In fact 30-40% books were printed before I was born.

Placement Experience:

From the final year that is 5th Semester, students are eligible for internships offered by college and at 6th semester that is the final semester students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Salesforce, IBM, Google, Amazon and many other companies visits TMPSL with placement offers. College promises 80-90% placement but last year only 50-55% were placed.

Companies visit the institute like Khadims, Bata , Ajanta , D2 international companie and many more companies are there.. 99% student get placement The plans after getting the degree is to be a part of a reputed company and improving myself there

We college have many companies like tata motors, cumming company, dana limites, spices limited, Ashok Leyland. Mahindra. L and t company and much more high package is 3.5 lakh per annum aur department students got 90 per cent placed. I have been placed in tata motors which gives me 3.2 lacs per annum. My plan is to do b tech at Jadavpur University.
