Entrance Preview

I took admission through IIT JEE.I scored 54 in that and so it is an autonomous college and placements are good so I opted this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Yes ,my opted course that is CSE branch,is the most suitable field to make a research. A complete unit is constructed for students to research on the subjects or topics or any other things. Students will develop a comprehensive knowledge base in the field, and be able to identify and explain the central concepts. This could be refined to indicate specific knowledge areas from foundational and advanced topic matter.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college provide Internship. My companies come and places the students in their respective companies. Most popular firm is Tata Consultancy Services. Secondly IBM gives the placement to the students.

Placement Experience

Tata Consultancy Services places approximately 200 and more students every year.IBM places the students approximately about 100 students. Pool Campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, I am availed of GOI scholarship.Others scholarships like Vidya Vetan,Sahu Maharaj and EBC I know.

Campus Life

2.5

Campus life is not so exicting. Male are more in numbers compared to female in contact with gender ratio. Extracurricular, labs, sports, competitions are done at every regular interval. No politics is done or taken place in our college.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes every year we have alumni meet in our college and also aboard. They the most helpful people to us as they provide internship for the current students depending upon their callibare.

Admission

DTE conducted rounds for colleges to opt the college for students. Notice was released around second week of june. Administration was quite strict during our time. As I studied in other state it was tough for me to get in. Four rounds were conducted I locked my option for the first round itself and got this college.

Faculty

Every subject of the department have got fabulous faculty to teach the students and also contract bases faculty also teaches and learn from senior faculty. Most of the faculty are very interested in their own particular subjects. Teaching is probabily is good as per faculties are concerned.Senior faculties are either graduated from Indian Institute of Technology Colleges.

My perspective about my college!!

Likes

Such a huge campus and it is located not far from the city so bus and autos are always available.
Our canteens serves Misal Pav which is next level.
For a city like Amravati and a college like ours, having a tech fest is a dream but since 2022, we have been hosting a tech event called Techlons.

Dislikes

Crowd is not that amazing as most students are non-serious over here.

Placement Experience:

TCS trains us in the third year and L&T Infotech and TCS are the ones who hired students. Almost half the students were taken by these two companies with an annual salary of 6 lakhs or so. For a freshers to work in such companies is a privilege and I am glad, we get this opportunity at our college.

A Brief Theory Round Of Aissms College Of Engineering

Likes

The campus is quite big and there are proper laboratories for every subject , also the faculty is quite helpful and helps student to settle up and get along so that the teaching and doubt interaction is built up from the starting
We have metro station right outside the gate of college so the travelling is quite simple
It's also good to have a college stationary right inside the campus and with discount too!

Dislikes

The benches are small which kind off makes the students uncomfortable to sit for more than 2 hours in that space
Canteen hygiene is not maintained at all
There's no underground parking for students and lack of space for parking of two wheelers

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Aissms College Of Engineering in comparison to the other one institute of Information technology. I personally have even saw seniors getting placements when they were in placement round room. And looking at all the boards the college has put up and I can definitely says that the college does get placements and companies do come

Likes

Faculty and teaching assistants are so friendly and are with great experience and wisdom.
Other than education many other activities take place like NCC, NSS, sports competitions, inter IIT competitions, etc.,
Ragging, student and gender abuse are strictly banned

Dislikes

sometimes we have to work till midnight for any tech teams, any assignments, etc., if the submission is not done in proper time. But faculty don't keep any pressure or stress on students to do certain tasks

Placement Experience:

Job placements starts from 3rd year 2 nd semester or 4th year 1st semester. Many Multi National Companies, like Amazon, Google, Sony, etc.,, come to hire students. Almost 70 % of the students get jobs. Atfer completing graduation, few people begin their startups and other businesses with the knowledge gained in the university.
