Remarks

I have applied to Government Engineering College Modasa, for Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering. Because I heard that this is a nice college and within our budget so I have applied. And the good thing is that I got admission to the hostel of a government college. There is an admission process is based on your cutoff my cutoff is greater than the college so I got admission easily. If you take admission in this college the first day is about the introduction. In that, they discussed college and facilities provided by the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The quality of faculty is about I can't say they are amazing and well trained and all facilities are good. The faculties support us to do any project. If we talk about the teaching systems them it's cool in our college.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1500 per year

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The details about the internship are there are some companies offering for an internship like Silverwing technologies, tops technologies. The most important projects that event and data management systems. The companies also provide a stipend from 5000 to 20000.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, you can eligible for campus placement offers. The HIFI, Royal Enfield, Tata Motors and many more companies visited for placements. To get placement we need to get greater than 7 ranks in the university examination.

Fees and Financial Aid

The cost of the study is only 1500 per year so obviously, it's in all budgets. And there is a system for a bus pass to travel. And term fees is only 1500 per semester. And I got a scholarship from the college. For scholarship, we need to apply on the digital Gujarat platform.

Campus Life

The last fest conducted by our college is Spandan-2020 is that fest so many activities are included by the college. If we talk about books and journals then that all stuff is available beside of college we meed not to find they anywhere.

Hostel Facilities

The admission process is based on our merit and the fees of the hostel are 1700 per annum so it's less costly. The meal provides twice a day and there 700 students capacity. In the per room, there are 3 students allowed to stay and the hostel is exactly beside of college.

Hostel Fee: INR 30000 per year

Likes

The campus view is awesome we all will see new things everytime and it feels fresh at the morning.
The personal development of particular students have been in focus of every faculty which is awesome.
The behaviour towards students of every professor is the best all are understanding and calm towards students.

Dislikes

There is a system of gate pass means whenever u need to go out of main gate with the permission we are not allowed to go.
In hostel the washrooms are not so clean for the students with common washroom hostel
The mess food are boring sometimes and the food of the food seems to be same everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I have a great interest in coding and this field is based on coding so i choosed the computer field. -The curriculum of the college are based on the things which will help us in future for real world application. -The way they i based on pdf means they make a full note of a subject in pdf and explain that and which makes clear to us so I don't think they should change. -There is a enough time to study for exams it depends on us how me manage it and the difficulty level is medium it is based on what we have understood till now in studies we have studied.

there are quite a few restrictions like no roaming allowed after 9:30pm.
mess food is not so good, its managable but sometimes it feels miserable
for every small thing to be done, lots of paperwork is required whether you need to go outside the campus or needs a NOC

Placement Experience:

in my unversity, proper placements usually start from 7th sem, however after 4th sem, the collage provides the opputunity to go for impact traning if youve got more than 60% in your 10th, 12th and throughtout the semesters from that traning top permorning student get a chance to sit for product-based companies. as of now (jan 2026), the highest placement recorded is 60lpa at microsoft, the average is aroudn 3.5 lps to 6 lpa, most of the recruiting companies are service based such as capgemini, infosys, tcs etc. around 200-250 students gets palce after heavy filtering, i plan to go for higher studies,
