LPU: my success companion

I had applied for many colleges including LPU but when I came to know the facilities and excellence of LPU I just didn't go anywhere and took admission in LPU. I haven't availed any type of quota for the admissions, but yeah I had appeared in the scholarship examination held by the college before admission. Criteria for getting admission in B.Tech (computer science) is that you should pass out class 12th, that's it no other criteria is required. The admission process was quite normal as usual, one has to give all his documents like 12th result, TC, ID, Domicile certificate and Income certificate etc and after that one will receive his /her college Id and will be enrolled in the college.

I chose computer science because I was interested in this subject. The faculty student ratio is acceptable, for every 50 student, there is 1 professor or teacher to help and guide. The faculty of the college are well qualified in their respective stream about every professor holds Master's Degree, and the teaching method is superb. There were two exams per month which were the class test and 4 per year which was the main examination, the term exams were difficult but one can pass it easily if he /she has attended the class regularly.

As mentioned earlier companies like Google, Amazon, Capgemini offers internship, the roles are given based on interview held by the company, some of them are (manager, assistant manager, staff member)etc.

Students from 3rd year and above are eligible for placement. Amazon ,Google, Capgemini, TATA, Birla etc. Are the topmost companies visited the campus and offered placements to the students. The package system is totally base on student's performance in the exams. The package may vary from (5000000-400000)/year according to the company and students performance. LPU tries to place all the students but almost 80-90% of student gets the placement rest of students either choose to study further or to do other sorts of job. I got placed after the degree and today I am working with a renowned company at a good salary.

The fee structure of this college is slightly higher than the others, but it also provides scholarships to the students who are economically weak or have passed the scholarship test organised by the college before admission.

LPU is a very famous college so they do organise an annual fest and tech fest every year and many other colleges come and participate in the fest. The annual fest is conducted in the month of October-November. LPU has its own library which is vast and full of books. Any student with Id can enter the library and borrow the books. In extra curriculum activities,, LPU is outstanding, they organize various sports programs, many celebrities like Sushant Singh Rajput, Gautam Gambhir Yuvraj Singh and even our current PM Narendra Modi has arrived the campus.
