Unbiased review of Lovely Professional University

The counselling day was very hectic as they have a large campus so had to walk almost 1.2 km to attend the councelling, it took almost 8 hours to complete the entire process. There was no proper management and my father had to wait in a long queue to get hold of someone who could guide us properly. The fee structure what was explained to us was not exactly what i got to know their also they offered me a private hostel room which almost start from 95k, later i realised that the sharing hostel facility was available but due to lack of preparation i didn't had any clue about this. There was a small mess out there which was under-construction at that time so you didn't have any option to eat even water drinking facilities were not adequate at that time. We also had some money crunch as they asked to pay the entire fee right away however we paid 35k before i was selected for the college due to this we had to meet several people requesting them to give us sometime to pay the fee.

The exams always happened timely but this is a kind of a college where they focus more on making the students appear multiple time in examination as they used to have an improvement sort of paper which you can fill thrice. Each improvement paper used to cost 250 at my first year and went upto 750 till my last year. The reality was almost 60% of my class or people who have studied here have filled backlogs which starts at 7000rs per examination

No internship offered by the college so cant rate this up , i did internship on my expenses from Honda motors Jalandhar. Some internship campaign in automotive were available but to limited candidate who hold almost 9.8 cgpa in the field

If i talk about Mechanical field in my known no body got placed , there were few who got opportunity to sit in some campus drive but were not selected. After completing the degree i did few internships in my core field but due to saturation in mechanical jobs i ended up joining an IT firm

At my time there were 8000 people who got admission so even the top cgpa candidates were not offered the opportunity to sit in the ongoing campus selection. They used to arrange many expos which were great but if you have a batch of 8000 people then not even 80 of them were allowed to participate

That was the Facebook era so students used to make their own Facebook group interact with other students if I say about the college making any attempt at social interaction then it was 0 but yes there was college fest which had these opportunities but as I said due to bigger population it was as difficult as finding a needle in the grass.
