Remarks

I had applied for four colleges the first one is Lovely Professional University second Chandigarh University third one is MMU and the last one is IES Bhopal. Fortunately, on the counselling date, my name got selected for Lovely Professional University. I avail the quota of economic weaker section of 10%. The admission criteria for BTech in Lovely Professional University are aggregate of 60% and 12th and it is a bonus point if you are coming through JEE Mains as they give preference to them this is because I do you came through JEE Mains. Only counselling date my name got shortlisted for Lovely Professional University and they ask me to make a degree of the amount of the fee and submit to the college the very next day. They also have a facility of scholarship students of the weaker sections this is a very friendly thing personal.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BTech because it is in demand. The faculty of LPU is 100% trustworthy faithful and reliable they are more like a friend than a teacher. All the faculties are PhD doctorate highly qualified teachers and experienced. The teaching method that Lovely Professional University has advance they use smart Technologies smart graphics. Add very frequent interval exams used to held at Lovely Professional University to get everything refreshed.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 120000 per year

Internships Opportunities

I did my BTech from the mechanical background so I got an internship in G Electronics India where I can get the virus live project and I got learnt a lot of new things there and they provide me incentives also and a certificate that I have done the internship for theirs.

Placement Experience

Setting details then beginning of the fourth year you getting interviews every month number of companies visit the college and the placement start from their only and so should you start reading place last year somewhere around 80 to 90% in what place and the remaining ones are still.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee of LPU is not quite, it is a moderate fee. I had a program of scholarship naming AWS which assistance to needy students. Now coming to the placements LPU course 100% placement record. They take responsibility for each and every child. Renowned companies from all over India come for campus placement.

Campus Life

Campus life is so enjoyable happily. Deva hostel is quite a good place to stay if you make new friends you live there you stay you eat your adolescence which makes that place memorable. And have a Cafeteria with them which is quite punished with all the varieties of footings.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel life is strawberries. Facilities in hostel-like Wi-Fi gym Hospital parks games including indoors and outdoors games such as cricket tennis football basketball carrom and so many other games the gym is highly equipped with latest technologies and the best thing does do not charge any fee structure for using the services.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Interview Experience

Given an interview to Wipro campus placement, I came across GD round my topic on GD was demonetisation and it was a very memorable moment for me as it was the first GD round. But the interview was was so supportive they help me to be on track and they're guiding me all-rounder interview process.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Inside NITJ- Beyond the Brochure

Likes

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
