Also, the Delhi quota is given for candidates passing 12th from the Delhi region. OBC quota availed. For Delhi candidates, OBC must be of the Delhi region. Course Curriculum Overview
Electrical branch is the oldest one in the University and have good experienced faculty. Faculty ratio is nice and are very high qualified. One mid term exam and one End term exam every semester. And class quizzes for internal markings.
Internships Opportunities
University itself provide paid internships in University offices. And in fifth sems students can sit for paid internships offered by companies visiting campus. And a lot research oppartunities are available for students in their departments.
Placement Experience
After fourth semester students gets eligible for oncampus paid internships. And in seventh sem they get eligible for placements. Lot of companies from every sector visit campus. for SDE roles average package is 12 lpa, for core roles avg package is 6lpa and for non tech roles avg. package is 8 lpa. almost every eligible student gets placement.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees hiked by 10% every year. scholarship is provided to financial weaker section after full proof verification and an interview. 50% fees is refunded to the students who are having income less than 8lpa. and further assistance is provided with students having further lower incomes.
Campus Life
Engi fest is the annual cultural fest conducted in february. YLFF is the annual literature and film fest conducted in January every year. Innova DTU is the annual tech fest conducted by all the technical teams and socities in march. Availabilty of books are good in library. classrooms have good furniture , projectors, and AC. Aahvahan is the annual sports fest conducted in March and campus have lot of other extraa curricular activities.
