V N Prem Chand Mannava's Review On K L University - [KLU], Guntur

At my time seats are allocated based upon scores in IIT, AIEEE, eamcet and KLUEEE where more percentage of seats are allocated for KLUEEE followed by other exams. Though I scored decent marks in eamcet and KLUEEE I got my seat in Mechanical Engineering with the help of my eamcet score.

In our website itself a tool is where student can open it any time with the given credentials(given by the university) and can access the timetable, course materials, schedule, assignments, electives each and every thing related to the course for that semester. It made my things easy as I don't have to rush to my notice board to know anything.

I am not sure that my college provides internship. Atleast two workshops are conducted on every month and students from various colleges from our state and others used to participate in them. For internship we went outside.

When it comes to placements it is one place where this university will stand out in first place when compared with others in our state. Most of the MNC's will be coming including tcs, infosys, wipro, accenture are some to mention. Packages offered to the student are decent. Students are filtered based upon the GPA and will be sent to the interview.

During the festival time college looks well crowded. Two fests will be in an year Tech fest and Cultural fest where students from various colleges will attend our college to share ideas, develop knowledge and at the same time to have some fun. Even a student who never attends the college will come to college at that time as it will looking like a real festival with all the sounds and lightnings.

University offers free education to the students who are toppers in IIT, AIEEE, eamcet and KLUEEE. Apart from that many banks offer educational loans to the student who are studying especially in this university at low interest rates. A part from all these fee concession is there for the students who scored good GPA.

Coming to the gender ratio it's almost 1:1 in all the departments except mechanical as female students don't prefer it. Extracurricular activities , sports, competitions are all the part of the university where they will be held on frequent basis. Various clubs are present in the university for various activities which helps to find the talent in students, for social activities, cultural awareness, etc.

Exams are very well organised by the examination committee. Marks are allocated to the students based on various factors like internals, attendance, lab marks, assignments, quiz, final semester end exam. It's not that tough to score good percentage in the exams if you attend the classes and labs regularly. Labs are well maintained with all the required equipment.

As mentioned above I used to reach to them to their cabins while i am in college, mail to them or I used to call them in holidays. Faculty in out college are very helpful when it comes to subject related issues. Most of the faculty who teach subjects are senior professors holding doctrate, Phd.
