Remarks

Good remarks: The academics is really good. You will have an excellent learning experience. Bad remarks: Their is no hostel facility.

Entrance Preview

No such entrance. I opted for this college because I have a lot of positive feedback from my seniors and it is one of the most reputed University in the country. Great learning atmosphere, taught by excellent faculties from different parts of India. Sure shot placement.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses are splitted equally in 6 semesters with 4 subjects each. Also practicals are separate. Its includes English, Digital Electronics, C programming, Java, Stats, Probability, Economics, Environmental Science, Fuzzy logic, Discrete Mathematics, Algebra, Calculus and others. There are proper contact classes where we got sufficient notes from the faculty. We received all the possible help from our professors to manage our studies.

Internships Opportunities

No, the college runs only vocational courses in the Noida Ext. center so no internship or hostel facilities. However the main campus in Mesra hosts such initiatives providing internships. Not sure about the stipends. You may browse the College website for more information.

Placement Experience

My batch was 100% placed. Only those who had current back logs couldn't make it as per the company norms. But later when they cleared their exams, got placed off campus. They are at good designations in Best of the companies working as Testers, Developers and Analysts.

College Events

We have annual day celebration in the college every year. Apart from that we have various seminars, involving eminent personalities from Research, Education, Technology and many more. We get guidance from them to grow in our near future. We follow their footprints to reach greater heights in life.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee is comparatively nominal, if you compare with other big universities its not that high. The semester system makes it for you to pay the fees without any burden. The mode of payment is via a DD on the name of the college. There is an administrative block where you can submit the fees without any hassle.

Fees and Financial Aid

Nothing as such. The fees itself is reasonable enough that I do not need to avail for any loan. If in case you need to apply for loan, you may get a bonafied certificate from the college on the letter head that may help you in applying for a loan. The college is well reputed to get you a loan.

Campus Life

The campus life was really great with a diverse environment. The ratio was almost the the same with equal energy and enthusiasm. Good infrastructure, Library, Computer lab with high end systems. We have tech competitions as well as sports events. We received equal participation from all the students as per their interest. They gave their best.

Hostel Facilities

There is no hostel in the Noida campus. However there is a cafeteria where you can have snacks and fast food. It is hygienic and less expensive as compared to other places. You even get cakes and other confectioneries in the cafeteria. Its located inside the campus.

External Expense: Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna

We have alumni meets where we get a chance to meet the pass outs and get good exposure about what is going out there in the world. The help us understand the current industry requirements. The help us extend our boundaries of imagination and help us achieve it.

Exam Structure

The exams are level medium. Not very easy but yes little effort can make things easy. You can score good marks if you are regular in your studies. Studying a day before makes no benefit. You need to be punctual to be a good student. Attendance needs to be more than 75%. You get extra marks as per the attendance you maintain.

Admission

I got admitted on marks basis without any entrance exam. Just a counseling and document verification. But I believe now they have certain eligibility criteria where a particular examination marks are considered. A DD is required at the time of admission.

Faculty

The faculties are well mannered and highly qualified subject matter experts. The have the ability to gather your attention with your full concentration. Their detailed knowledge will clear all your doubts. If in case you do not understand a topic you can reach out to them without any hesitation.

Likes

Infrastructre it would be the best .in the govt. College in ranchi
Teachers , well qualified intellctual and knowledgable
Extra curriculum activities are also good

Dislikes

Discipline , college should work on the descipline
Lecture not attended timely so that student faced difficulties on syllabus
Behaviour of teachers towards student somebodies are very good but some teachers egostic or a misbehaving towards student

My College, My second hoem

Likes

A big campus and an ever resonating campus life
Excellent and helpful faculty members with deep knowledge in their subjects
High quality computer labs along with a supercomputer

Dislikes

Hostel food service, quality and hygiene
Slow and stammering WIFI connection which also gets lost sometimes
A little unhygienic and sometimes not well cleaned washrooms

Placement Experience:

From 9 th semester onwards students of our branch become eligible for campus placements. Companies like VISA, Microsoft come there with lucrative offers. The highest and avarge package are quite impressive. The highest package is nearly 50 lakhs while the average is nearly 12 lakhs. Nearly 50-60 percent of students get placed with some getting multiple offers. After getting degree I am planning to secure a good job through campus placements.

"Not the best, But Not the Worst Either"

Likes

Exams are conducted in proper manner no unfair means. And paper is completely related to the syllabus
Syllabus is designed very good. It's a B.Tech level syllabus in BCA so its good that we are very much advanced as compared to other college and university.
Timely semester ends. 6 months syllabus is completed in 4.5 months so its a good point that you are on time.

Dislikes

Campus is very limited. Only college building that too with 15 classroom and only a parking space in the name of campus.
There is no extra co-curricular activities in our campus. Only attend classes from 9 to 5 and go back home that the college life which you get here in bit lalpur.
There is no coed. The biggest disadvantage which I felt. The college life is really boring for us. There is nothing to entertain us. No fun, I feel like a trap being in this campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college was good before COVID but after covid not that much good. In my batch out of 150 students only 2 student got their placement. Since we are in 5th semester so we are hoping to get more placement opportunities from various companies. The top companies who visit out campus are: 1. Infosys 2. LIC Private Ltd. 3. Tata Consultancy Ltd. 4. Accenture India 5. HCL and many more are yet to come.

Food facilities of canteen and price is also very affordable
Sports section of our college is best because it have almost all indoor and outdoor games
Transport facilities because it have many busses which goes everywhere in ranchi

in bca students get placement from 5th sem and in btech students get placement from 7th sem and companies like tcs, Wipro, Infosys and many more. My plans are to become a software developer after completing my course ..

Likes

The College Study Expenses is quite affordable even for lower middle class student.
The faculties are quite experienced with a exciting way to make students learn.
The college provides various courses on UG or PG level like arts humanities, Sciences, Commerce Computer Applications Business Applications.

Dislikes

The Placement records are not good enough.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college is not that good, or we can say it is left on to students. Very few student get the placement offers or the internship opportunites. Only we can say about 105 of the students get placed. The highest salary package was around 5 LPA and the minimum offerd was 2 LPA. Some of the Top compaies visiting our campus involves TCS Cognizant and Accenture.

A good college for a student who is from not so good background.

Likes

Campus is nice, good in hygiene terms. A lot of plants and trees are plated in the campus garden. Classes are very nice and air conditioned.
Response of teachers are very nice. They really work hard for the students. They assists us in all fields.
College security and safety guards are very effective.

Dislikes

College is very far from main road. And the college surrounding is not good.
There are useless rules are ment for the students.
Fines are very high and there is no exemption in fine.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered to students who are in their final year. Capable students can easily crack the placement. A decent package is provided of an average of 2-3 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered is about 7LPA. Many different companies visit the college during the placement period offering a good package. Companies like Infosys, cognizant, Wipro, puma, ceat, Flipkart, etc visit the college for placement. At least 70-78% of students get placed and a rapid improvement is seen in the placement graph of the college.

Good college good faculty

Remarks:

All the staffs including gatekeeper or cleaning staffs are vert friendly and helpful. Once i entered the college first time i was bit confused about going to principal office but one of the gatekeeper came to me and he shows me thepath very politely. I love my college everything is very good in the college.

Remarks:

University is good in all forms from fresher's to farewell but to some extent it lacks in placement as you have to really work hard if you want to get into a named company. Else it is good in providing knowledge, sorting out the problems and many more.

BIT MESRA insights

I got a seat in NIT Patna during josa counselling mechanical branch but I considered bit mesra ece due to more industrial demand,better increment and big campus.Nit patna has very small campus but is located in core of patna but bit mesra has big beautiful campus but 16km far from ranchi JN which is inconvenient for travel. But bit got their own buses free for their students and staff. This college has better placement rates and %age than nit patna. Our college mainly accept students through JEE main exam. Cut off is available everywhere. There is one more admission process through state counselling available for category students.namely bc 1 and bc 2. Once you get a seat allotted through josaa counselling the college declared a date on which you have to come for document verification and on that day you get your hostel allotment and roll number. It was very crowded I can remember on first day of admission as lot of parents came on same day. Around 500 to 600 students along with their parents came on first day for admission.I came to college at 2:30 p.m. and ended up 10:00 p.m. during the whole process. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra.
