Brijesh Patel's Review On Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya Engineering College - [BVM], Vallabh Vidyanagar

I gave JEE examination. I took this college because it is gujarat's first engineering college. All faculties are so experienced. Placements record forced me to join this college.

Particularly information technology is having good structure of course. But GTU still need to improve the contents. Because recent trend in market is something different and we are studying little of them. Otherwise basics of all subjects are good. One can learn all basics.

College do not provide internship. But yes every student after 3 rd year has to work as intern for any company related to his field.

Placements and job opportunities are very high in this college. If you are having good academic concepts and speaking skill and management power, job is yours. You have to work just little for getting placed. Every year placement record of my college increase comparing other colleges in battle of placement record.

There are number of events that are celebrated in my college every year every semester. Annual event is UDAAN THE EUPHORIC LEAP. And other events like KNOWHOW, FUSION, IEEE,ISTE.., etc are celebrated by my college. These helps students to improve their hidden skills.

Yes, there are many scholarship given by our college. Scholarship are for only OBC, SC, ST students. That is not digestive at all. Scholarship of amount 5 k-15 k is provided. Gujarat government is giving 50 k scholarship for top listed eligible students.

Campus life is always a memory for a lifetime in all colleges. Every student or passed out student will have large 32 cm smile when they are asked for their college life. Sports like cricket, volleyball, football are the part of college life. Yes there are also activities like debate, presentation, group discussion, personality development, etc.

Hostel of my college is not that much pleasing. But one can live in there with lots of adjustments. Students after first year mostly prefer to live in other private hostel. Mess is not provided in our hostel but as BVM is in the middle of vidyanagar, students belly is always full of delicious items.

Engineering is of 8 semester in four years. In every semester there is first internal exams. After internals there is practical exam and presentation. Viva in 1St and last year is taken by University and in rest years by college. After that the University exam is taken by GTU.

I gave JEE. On the basis of board marks and JEE marks students rank were given. According to rank cut off online process of ACPC gave us college in which we were eligible. And then we chose the college. We took the receipt from ACPC help Centre and then contacted college for the further process of admission confirmation. Process like fees and all.

Faculties of my college are quite good. Faculties are very supportive. They are always ready to help students on students difficulty and problems. On other hand they also give proper guidelines for further studies,placements, and life.
