ASHISH's Review On G L Bajaj Institute Of Technology And Management, Greater Noida

I took UPSEE entrance exam, rank- 33000. As my rank was not good, I was finding it difficult to get admission to some good college. But my friends suggested that G L Bajaj is growing very fast and if I take admission there it would be at good heights till my last year.

The course curriculum is good and wide. Most of subjects are covered up under the full four years syllabus including almost 15 to 16 core subjects in all branches as well as the other subjects. The other subjects include industrial sociology, industrial psychology, laser, economics, cyber security, human values etc.

Yes, the college provide summer internship to the students certified with various companies. The companies providing internship in our college are TCS, i3 India. All branches except civil can do internship from the college itself. The stipend for training is 3000 to 5000. All fees is refunded if attendance in training classes is good. Also, aptitude and personality development training classes are kept in this.

The placement of the college is appreciable. For the 2017 batch, till now almost 35 companies have visited including mass recruiters like tech mahindra, capegemini, IBM etc. The placement in core branches like mechanical, civil and electrical engineering is rather not good which is a common problem nowadays with most of the colleges.

No, the college itself does not offer any kind of scholarship or loan facility. But as it comes under AKTU, their are norms for scholarship to counselling entry students with low family income. Also loans can be taken from all banks by the counselling entered students.

The campus environment at G L Bajaj is quiet healthy enough as their are a lot of things to do like academics, labs, projects, events etc. The gender ratio is not so bad either except in core engineering departments. The extra curricular activities include technical debates, seminars, labs, events, cultural events etc. They are good and learning based and get participation from both college and outside students.

Their is no any alumni meet held but the college keeps the record of its students that have performed good. The juniors may contact them and get to know about their road to success. The junior senior interaction is also be held during farewell.

The exam structure is quiet hectic in our college as it follows rules of the AKTU university, Lucknow and conducts three sessional exams before the final university exams in every six months. So, therefore almost 50 days in each semester are gone in giving exams. All the papers are of three hours each. The internal practical exams are also conducted by the college before university exams.

The administration was good and co-operative. Although I could get admission in mechanical engineering branch in G L Bajaj at my 33000 rank. But I didn't took risk of waiting for counselling and went on to the college, gave their test, showed my 75%+ mark sheets of 10th and 12th and got admission under management quota.

All the college faculties are master graduates in technology. The way of teaching is both on board and through power point presentations. The faculties keep a good record of student's attendance, lab activities and seminars. The faculties regularly provide notes and question banks to the students. They also provide help to the students in their projects.
