Remarks

There are minimum marks for taking admission in lpu i.e. you must have 60% in class 12th. The admission process is easy, you can go to college and take admission as well aa you can apply online. If you have given lpunest you can get a scholarship up to 50% on the academic fee. Scholarships can also be availed if you have given jee mains and scored a minimum percentile.

Course Curriculum Overview

Nowadays everything is going technical. So without computer science technology cannot be developed. So this course will provide many future opportunities. Faculties are qualified enough for your doubts and will give you proper suggestions. They will always be available whenever you need them. Semester exams are sometimes easy or sometimes average depends on your preparation as well. For scoring good grades you have to listen to your classes and you will get good grades.

Top to average companies come in lpu. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft offers a high pay internship with a chance to get PPO. To get the internship you have to make some projects in your field and have some knowledge.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for placement after getting into 3rd year. You will get many opportunities for internship and placement. Approx 80% of students get placed in the CSE department. In lpu many tops to average companies visit. Top companies like Amazon, Microsoft comes too. This year highest package was 42 lakhs/year given by Microsoft. If you have basic skills for an internship, you will get lots of opportunities from top to average companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

For an academic fee, if you get a scholarship it's affordable but if you cannot get any scholarship it is a little high for many. The scholarship name for lpu is lpunest. It is organised in a phased manner and every time scholarship will be less than the previous phase. So you should prefer to give exams in the early phase. Lpu also provides some part time jobs on campus, you can apply for that with your ongoing academic too.

Campus Life

In lpu, there is several events are done every week. You can always see some event is going on everywhere. There are too many opportunities for sports too. You can join any sports you want and you will be provided with a coach. There are many competition opportunities in which if you win you can get chances to represent yourself at national or international level.

Hostel Facilities

There are many types of rooms from single to 6-bed. You can take any with your preference and affordability. Mess food is average and hygiene. The registration process is simple, you can pay the first 10000 for hostel booking online and then joining University you can pay the next. Hostel facilities are good and safe. You can also get many rooms or flats around lpu at an affordable price.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late

Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
