Remarks
The admission in the course is through all India entrance exam JNUEE and females are given deprivation points/ marks for admission. The admission process is very smooth. there is no age bar for admission in Masters in life sciences. quota is also applicable for admission, but the category certificate should be there with you.
Course Curriculum Overview
The faculty is also good, basically, the lab experience is the best over here in the second year we did a dissertation project which is very important for Ph.D. admissions. MCM scholarship of 2000 per month I gave to the students on the basis of income. The hostel is just awesome and the university has a lot of greenery, people are also good.
Internships Opportunities
As such there are no internships available for an MSc student, one can go to other institutes to apply for the same. As there are no such internship opportunities. Frankly, during the whole course, I haven't seen any internship opportunity.
Placement Experience
As such there are no placement opportunities for MSc students in life sciences, so one has to go for higher studies or can go for the private sector on their own. As such there are no placement opportunities and the college even does not give any.
Fees and Financial Aid
The cost of the 1-year fee is rs 106 and it is very affordable and extremely good. The hostel fee is just 1500 rupees rest is security money that is refunded back to you. The food of the hostels is very good and the cost is around a maximum of 3000 a month. All in all it's very affordable to study here.
Campus Life
The best part of the university is the campus, at night the campus looks so beautiful and amazing that I can't explain, and the hostels are 24*7 and even the university is open 24*7. So it's so cool and amazing, I didn't find any flaw over here.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rent is around 1500 that is paid one time, the security money of 4500 is refundable after the course completion, some hostels like tapti and Ganga have too small rooms, but Shipra and koyna are the best girls hostel.
