I Joined KLU by scoring a good rank in klu entrance exam. I achieved 1400 rank in the entrance exam.I'm so glad to get to join in klu with a good rank because KLU is ranked the 1st best engineering institution in both AP and telangana. It is an ISO 9001 - 2008 Certified Institution with NAAC 'A' Grade.E-Learning mode of teaching is practiced in the campus.
Course Curriculum Overview
There is a good infrastructure with research labs. The institute is recognised as a Public Funded Research Institute by DSIR of Government of India, a recognition for the excellent research environment in the institute. Research oriented problem solving technique bases institution. The electives are related to the present day knowledge from day to day life, they are very helpful to gain knowledge.
Internships Opportunities
Yes,My college provides internship.The general stipend may be of 3000-5000.Coco-cola, haail and,ING Vysya life insurance, PIAGGIO, HCL, Airtel, TMI group and some other companies come for our college,It will be really a good experience during the internship.
Placement Experience
KLU has a strong Industry Relations & Placement Department (IRP) and has been consistent in achieving 100% Placements for registered eligible students during past 7 years. ADP Ltd., The following companies come to our college Aliens Group, Amara Raja Group, Axis Bank Ltd, BSCPL, Bajaj Capital Ltd.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Our Fee structure is 10,000 for Admission along with a tuition fee for each semester is Rs 80,000 along with hostel fee of Rs 42,000 per semester or a transportation fee of Rs 18,000 per year. According to me it is very expensive to take Rs 160000 per year.
Fees and Financial Aid
My college do provide loan facility but not scholarships. I didn't avail for any loan or scholarship but my friends opted for a loan in our college KLU.
Alumni/Alumna
Didn't have much interaction with my seniors but they were good. Our college has anti-ragging squad and so need not worry about ragging. Seniors used to help in organising the fests.
Exam Structure
Every month we have a test and after 3 months there will be sem-end exam. Before this, lab exams are conducted thrice.Labs are conducted every week as per the schedule and faculty help us in every aspect. We get very tensed during our external lab exams for the submission of projects but our faculty do help us out.
Admission
It's nearly "May" I got my result of my KLU entrance exam written in april with a rank of 1400. From then after a week there was a counselling in which I was asked to select a branch. I then got a seat in computer science engineering upon paying a fee of 1 lakh.
Faculty
The faculty student ratio of 1:14.67.K L University knowledge-base stems from the presence of eminent and highly qualified academic staff that brings with them rich industrial, research and teaching experience. The average age of faculty is about 35 years. The wisdom, vision and values they impart to the students go a long way in making the students successful professionals.
