Entrance Preview

CET and i have choose this college because its hardly 2 km from my home and sophisticated crowd of college.

Course Curriculum Overview

My choice of field is Electronics & communication and the course is very good as you get to know how all things, objects, equipments and machines that you encounter in daily life and it enhances your mind.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college provide internships but some are with stipend and some are not. My overall experience is great at internship.

Placement Experience

4.5

In GGSIPU, my college is on 5th rank as we have great placements every year and its getting better n better every year. Every branch has so many opportunities to sit n interact with great MNC'S. I am also placed in reliance jio company from college placement.

Exam Structure

All the internal exams are held in college itself and all the internal practicals and external practicals are also held in college but all the final exams take place in different college every year to avoid cheating. Every semester we have to go to different college for final exams. The exams held in our college are also conducted with strictness.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of college is exceptionally great as they were impeccable as they motivates every students so that no student can feel exhausted as they also inspire to move forward in right direction. I must say my faculty is like set of peoples with excellent minds.

How Good B.Tech. from JAMIA MILLIA ISLAMIA is?

Likes

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

College review for FOT

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

I choose this college because this offers a good balance of academics, and location .Compared to othercolleges BPIT has decent placement opportunities and a disciplined academic environment .Also its location in Delhi povides better exposureand careeropportunities . The admission process is mainly based on the entrance exams and centralised counselling .After registrationon the IPU portal, students participate inchoice filling and seat allotment .Once the seat is alloted , they need to pay the fees and complete document verification....Read More

Eligibility criteria for taking admission in BPIT college in BTech programme is that a candidate must have given jee mains entrance examination & must have atleast 55 percentage in 12 th class .the admission is based on jee mains CRL .
