Remarks
Applied to JAC DELHI COUNSELING in three colleges DTU, NSIT, and IIITD. After that, I opted for civil engineering in DTU. I am eligible for NSIT Instrumentation too but opted for DTU. Belong to general quota so no benefits while taking admission Criteria for selection is through jee mains rank and maximum age is 25 years to enroll. The admission process is smooth and every counseling round details uploaded online then after accepting the seat we had to make payment within 3 days and document verification too.
Course Curriculum Overview
I am very fascinated with superstructure built around world so i opted for civil engineering over other branches. faculty student ratio is about 1:25. Most of the faculty have completed their Phd and they all have many year of experience in reasearch area. Teaching method is still traditional with a board and marker. term exams are almost every 6 months and it basically depend on semester whether its difficult to pass or not, Generally initial semester upto 3 are difficult.
Internships Opportunities
Internship oppurtunities are mostly for computer science background students if you want it from campus. for people of other branches you have to hunt it from other sources. Generally Trainee role is offered to software students in companies like visa, microsoft.
Placement Experience
7 th semester people become eligible for placements. The highest package is 46 lakhs and average is aroud 6.5 lakhs 60-65% students placed. My plan is to get a job in analyst role after degree in too a big product based company and grow myself
Fees and Financial Aid
Generally, Fees are hiked at 10% annually my overall fees for 4 years is 6 lakhs but if you join now in any course now then it will be 8 lakhs for complete course. So its way too high being a government college. scholarship is generally provided to ews category students
Campus Life
Engi Fest is an annual fest conducted in march annually. Innova tech fest conducted annually in February The library is a good one you can find most of the course books over there. As such no special amenities in the classroom Sports fest like aahavaan conducted every year Social groups are SCEE, ASCE.
