Apart from the full-time programmes, the University also offers several distance learning programmes via LPU Distance Education (LPUDE). LPU registrations for all the programmes generally begin in July every year. Admission to most of the courses is conducted through LPUNEST. Did not apply for any quota. Eligibility: Class 12 in Science stream with an aggregate of 60%

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum and the syllabus are perfectly organized and full of qualified knowledge. The best thing is that the whole information and management system is online, and you can easily access it through your phone. The exams schedule is flexible. Faculty members are good. Most of the teachers are helpful, and they provide quality knowledge. Exams were held every 6 months and in between practicals.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Over 800 national and international companies visited the campus this year, including Hewlett Packard, Amazon, Abbott, IBM, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Google and Microsoft.Microsoft- Rs 42 LPA, Amazon- Rs 28 LPA, Trident Ltd- Rs 15 LPA, Google- Rs 1 crore per annum, Hyatt Regency, Great Wolf Lodge- Rs 15 LPA; and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

Rs 1,20,000 were the fees for my course. NEET was the scholarship I applied for. Placements in our college are good. Many companies, including top companies like Microsoft, Amazon, etc., visit our college for on-campus placements. The university provides the best assistance in the placement process, which includes an online portal for registration, test series with content to read, etc. The average salary package offered ranges from 5-6 LPA. I work in Amazon and was placed through the college.

Campus Life

This college provides the best sports facilities, labs, libraries, auditorium, gymnasium, indoor stadium, etc. Our college also has a Unimall, Unihospital, and shopping complex within the campus. Thousands of events are conducted every semester. Almost 5-6 events are conducted every day. Participation is optional, and by choice, you can explore yourself inside out by participating in them. Dislikes

hectic schedules drain the soul of you .
frequent exams test that are totally unnecesary
attendance is another nuisance , having 75 percent is must

A TOUR TO CGC LANDRAN

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . I am also sitting for campus placement and wish to get placed soon

College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
