Remarks

I applied in JAC Delhi counseling in which DTU , NSUT, IIITD give admissions based on your JEE Mains rank. I applied for the Electrical Engineering program in DTU in which you required under 75000 rank and have a minimum of 60% marks in 12th(PCM). The admission process was so smooth and have a proper schedule.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose Electrical Engineering in DTU because I was having an interest in DC motors from 12th. Faculty and students ratio is quite good here and faculty members are very much qualified and they always try to explain in new ways and we have tests every month and exams are of medium levels of you attend all classes you can easily pass the exams.

Internships Opportunities

This year Sprinklr offered 2LPM for SDE to 13 students. If you are in the 3rd year or 5th semester then you are eligible to apply for on-campus internships. There were many students who got internships of more than a lakh per month in 3rd year of college

Placement Experience

If you are in the 7th semester then you are eligible for campus placements and in our campus more than 300+ companies visits. Some companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinklr, Facebook, Samsung etc. Highest domestic package was 51.50 LPA and average package was 12LPA . Total 1500+ offers was giver previous year and more than 80% students got placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees is quite high in DTU but there are some scholarships provided by the university and by Delhi Government also and if you ask about placements then you will not get disappointed here, placement stats are quite high more 300 companies visit the campus and gave more than 1500 offers this year.

Campus Life

If you talk about Fest in DTU then no one can beat us. DTU organize one of the largest fests in North India called Engifest after IITD.Last year in engifest there was more than 150000-foot fall and many popular artists came. There are more than 100 societies in DTU there are a society of every possible thing e.g dance, music, robotics, coding, racing, debating, etc

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

If you got no placement then they will give you the opportunity to start the startup. starting the 4th year you get the placement and opportunities. this college visits many companies like Amazon HCL Flipkart etc. this college's highest package is 26 LPA and the average package is 10.5 LPA. 80% of students get placed. my plan is after taking the degree I will start my startup.

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
