Remarks

After 12th I thought that I will not get a good college but I got to know about a lovely professional university. Then I decided to take admission to this college. The admission process was very easy and they take admission on basis of your 12th class number which is a great thing for everyone. The minimum age is 18 and the minimum mark is only 65% in 12th which is great.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was having an interest in computer science that's why I choose this course. The teachers were amazing and of great level. They were like friends with every student. They were experts and were highly qualified. Terms exams were held twice a year and which help us to improve. The questions were amazing and of great level.

Class Size: 23Course Fees: INR 66000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The best thing about this college is that you get a chance for an internship. I went to apple company in the 3rd semester. My experience was amazing in that internship. There were was an easy project like making an app which was a great thing for everyone.

Placement Experience

From the 6th semester, a student becomes eligible for placement which is great for everyone. Very famous companies visit's here like Amazon, Apple etc. The highest package in my time was 2.4 crore. And the average package was 36 lakh which was super. For good placement, we need 80% which is very easy to maintain. I planned to shift USA after getting the package as I got selected by the apple company.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of this college are very low compared to other Collage's. They only take 66000 per year which is very low for everyone. Even they give scholarships on fees based on our number which is a great thing. And after 4 years we get great jobs with high package.

Campus Life

There is royal life on this campus. Many fests are held at this college which is a great thing. Many celebrities come to meet us. Libraries are amazing and are having every book. The classes are very silent with having Air conditioning in it and 8 fans in the classroom. There are many sports games with helping us to maintain physical fitness. There are many club's which gives us extra knowledge.

Hostel Facilities

There are great facilities in the hostel's room like a 5 star hotel. Having AC in the room is the best thing. The meal is also amazing. We get 4 times to eat in a day which is great for us. Registration for hostels is very easy and at a very low price. And there is also room for rent near the college at a very low price which is great for everyone.

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Interview Experience

Their were very easy test's for admission. And the syllabus was of class 12th which was great thing for everyone. Interview were amazing. Admission process was very easy. You have to just fill form and give test and you get admission. I prepared by studying 12th ncert.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus

Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
