Remarks

First of all, the candidate has to clear jee mains exams after that JAC Delhi conducts counseling procedure in which along with dtu 4 other institutes are listed whose names are nsut, iiitd, igdtuw. Candidate has to choose their preferred college and branch and according to candidate jee mains ranking the college and branch are allocated to candidates like in 2020, for Computer engineering the cutoff in 5th round was around 8k in dtu while 4k in nsut for general category. Candidate whose has not been allotted any branch can wait for next round and candidates who want to change their college or branch or both then they have to float their seat so that again they a participate in next round.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

In offline mode, exam is generally conducted 2 times per sem named mid sem and end sem. The exam remains easy and students can start preparing for this exam 1 week and 2 weeks before respectively. But in online mode, the curriculum has been changed temporarily now in each subject 3 class tests are hold and 2 surprise tests are held out of which best of 2 and best of 1 are considered for marking respectively.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

As I already told dtu starts providing campus internships from 2nd year for various companies. But DTU also launched their own internship program in 2016 named university student internship program in which students can join and work with some professors and basically students have to do some data management tasks, career guidance etc. And the stipend is also provided by this program which remains around 2500.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement of our college is very good for the core and noncore branches both this year around 95% students gets placed from all branches and almost 100% from cs,it etc. The name of companies visited is Amazon, microsoft, google, curefit, codenation, paytm and many more. The highest ctc gone was 1.02 crore till now internationally. AND for domestic maximum ctc has gone 45Lpa. Currently, my plan after getting a degree is to find a good job in the technical field which I feel is quite possible in dtu because almost every student from here grabs a job at last.

Fees and Financial Aid

I have got a scholarship through the district portal the name of the scholarship is financial merit means cum financial assistance like that. But Dtu also provides its own scholarship so students can also apply for this. But any student has applied on both in dtu scholarship and at edistrict too then he gets only one out of them. So, currently, i am in my 2nd year so I have not got any internship from dtu. Actually, dtu provides on-campus internships from the beginning of 3rd year. Ya but for 2nd-year students dtu launches their own internship program so candidates can join them and in this students can get a stipend of 2500 approx.

Campus Life

5

Dtu has lots of society and groups like IEEE ,IOSD technical society and dramatics clubs, dance club, photographic club Nd many more so students can join this club and explore. Now also there is a startup initiated by 3rd and 4th-year dtu students talk with me in which they guide juniors on how to prepare for interviews and they also teach dsa, web dev etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
