Entrance Preview

I gave COMEDK to take admission in that college. I do not remember the exact score but i think i score around 68 out of 180 and my rank was perhaps 14000. I opted for this college because i got some positive review from my friends about this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum was good but not the best. It was okay type what i can say. I will not lie here it is not so good in terms of course curriculum. There is nothing for the research purpose but yea the faculty of the college is good. There are not so much experienced but good enough for teaching.

Internships Opportunities

No they do not provide any kind of internship. I am really sorry to say you about that. But yea if we get internship in any college then college may give some leave for that.

Placement Experience

That is good but they do not allow a student to be places in two different companies. That means if a student is placed in a company then he or she will not be allowed to sit for any upcoming companies in the campus that may be of any packages.

Fee Structure And Facilities

At the time of admission i need to pay 50,000 to COMEDK through demand draft and remaining 1,00,000 cash to the college for tuition fees and also i need to pay 50,000 cash to the college for hostel and mess charge.

Fees and Financial Aid

No i do not know about such things. I am really sorry to covey this message to you. But i really do not know about such facts.

Exam Structure

Exams were very frequent and it uses to happen in every month. There was 3 internals of each subject in 3 months. That was of 25 marks and best of two used to be considered. There was two lab internal of 25 marks on which 1 used to be considered. And yea there was an external of lab and theory both too.

Admission

I had a counselling for my COMEDK exam. In my first round of counselling i got acharaya but in the next and last counselling i got this sapthagiri college of engineering. There i needed to pay 50,000 demand draft to COMEDK for counselling and the rest amount of 1,00,000 to the college. I need to carry the documents provided by COMEDK to the college and by paying the rest of the money got admission in the college.

A great place for learning and career growth

Placement Experience:

Excellent placement training and reputed companies visit the campus. I had received offers from three companies which reflects the quality of opportunities available. Placement is one of the college's biggest strength. Student with no backlog and good academic records will get easily placed.

My life at CMR - University

Course Curriculum Overview:

The aspects like: we had 2 internal exams in the semester and after completing these internal exams roughly at the 5th month we had practical exam + end semester exams, these exams would be mainly theory based inclusing some conceptual based questions & based on our understanding only, we can able to write the answers. One thing, I would suggest was we shall give more weightage to the practical based learning, that too during our days we were just the beginning of AI & Iot era was effectively going on, if we had some advanced eductaion covering these aspects we would have got the opportunity to shine more in our carrers. As a student, we faced slight diffuclities and challenges matching the real-life happenings with the acdemics, that would be one of the shortcoming I can say.

My campus life so far

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the curriculum is well planned, balanced and easy to follow. We start with the basics and along with theory there's a good amount of coding practice, assignments, and hands on learning. I like that the course isn't just about passing exams, it also focuses on building skills that will be useful later for internships and placements. So far it feels relevant, practical and not overwhelming for someone who's just starting out.

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.
