LPU, leading university in India

I thought of taking admission to Chandigarh University first but I didn't apply there. LPU is better than CU in terms of placements and study. For admission, I appeared for LPUNEST which was needed as I was not having good marks in jee. I took admission. LPU offers scholarships to students availing admission based on marks in 10th and 12th. I have a 90+ percentage in 10th so I got a 35% scholarship in program fee per sem. So now I have to pay only 63700+2500 exam fee per sem. The scholarship is limited to a certain time. Late admission can't avail of this opportunity. Talking about the admission process, it was hassle free. I took admission from home only due to t covid and continuing online classes. But each student is assigned with an admission officer during admission. Sir has helped me in the entire process. I just had to send him all my details marks and everything and my admission was done. For admission, I paid a 10000 fee of which 500 was for the LPUNEST form and the rest 9500 was my fee.

I always wanted to pursue BTech in computer science and engineering. And LPU has a very great faculty. There are so many students. But the student's teachers ratio is great. Even during online classes, the online teaching platform is great. At the beginning of each sem, each student is guided by how to take online classes. Teachers clear all the doubts. The official messaging app of Lpu is great. Teachers and students can interact there easily. Facilities are highly qualified and have a great way of teaching. In each sem, there are CAs in each subject which is basically assignment and its marks are added in the result. So assignments are compulsory. And midterm and end term exams are held each sem. Exams are held timely. And if you are studying sincerely then surely you will pass. The Paper is as per the syllabus only. Sometimes some questions are hard while some are easy. So it is kind of moderate.

Various internships like summer are very important for 2nd year onwards students to do. LPU provided students with various internships to do. Whether it is technical, app development, website making, content writing, sales marketing, digital marketing, management It has so many offers.

LPU is known for its placement. The highest placement being 40 LPA to average 3-5 LPA. It offers a huge amount of placements to its students. The on-campus drive is one of the important things there. Big companies like Microsoft, Capgemini, Google, TCS etc visit the college during on campus placement. College also provides students with great placement opportunities. Students are supported in their startup plans also. Every year 90% of students get placed from LPU in MNCs.

The program fee is 98000 per sem and 2500 exam fee per sem. On the basis of scores in jee or boards they offer scholarships also. And from time to time there is so many financial assistance being provided by the college to students to help them in the study. College also provides loan where anyone can easily avail it. Those who are taking admission under the sports quota also get scholarships. Hostel fee depends on what type of accommodation you are availing of. There are 6 seaters, 5,4,3,2, seaters room available. Ac/Non Ac (cooler) rooms are available. Flats are also available. Mess fee also varies. It depends on what kind of cuisine you are having like normal one or 2 times different cuisine a day or 4 different cuisines a day. It also depends on how many times you are taking food like 2,3 or 4 times. If you don't want to take the mess , canteen is also available there.

LPU has a great infrastructure and a very beautiful surrounding. Libraries, hospital, restaurant, malls everything is there in its campus. There are so many clubs in college. One can never feel bore there as fests and celebrations are organised there frequently. You will not feel home sick. It has everything there like you live in your home. So many singers, celebrities come there. College fest is exciting for everyone. College group like khoj, tanzanite, etc organise so many events you can participate in.
