Remarks

The college infrastructure is good but if you are from OPEN category or EWS category then I will suggest you not to take admission here because your fees will be totally wasted here and the fees for general category is also high. Even if you are going to take admission here i will say go to a private college where you can pay some fees and get more facilities and faculty.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is good and the faculty is here is also good but the problem is faculty is limited for an electrical branch. So you cant get many resources from faculty. Students are here very good and helping nature. Faculty are also very helpful but there is only one issue that there is no wide range of faculty.

Placements are good but only for non core branches if you are from core branches then there are only two or three company which gives placements. And only 19 students out of 70 students from Electrical got placement in 2019. Among 20 companies with average package of 4lpa

Fees and Financial Aid

Castism is on the top in this college. If you are from open/EWS leave the dream to pursue this college. You are not able to pay the fees of this college. Even if you pay you will get EBC scholarship of Only 1250Rs. So take your decision with calm mind and regarding your family situation. You have to pay 75000k and you will get scholarship of about 1250 only

Campus Life

Zenith and prajwalan are the events that happen in this college which can be the best events only if you participate in them and give your best. Library has all the books which you are going to require in your engineering journey. Classroom has all the facilty of lights fans only. If the college is offline then there will be an Sport event named as Kalpana Chawla trophy. This is the best event among all. There are various clubs also like, Robitcs, dance,arts,astronomy, music etc.

Hostel Facilities

There are three hostels for boys and two for girls if you are from first year you will he getting New boys hostel for boys and jijau hostel for girls. New boys hostel rooms has three beds and three table and three chair with some lights and fans only. *There are no cupboards* Meal quality is like if you can eat then good otherwise you can leave hostel. Hostel are given on merit rankings.

Honest review if you wanna opt for this college

Likes

The girls to boy ratios is good, we get to see all girls equal contributing in the college
The faculty is good, they are very helpful and give good guidance
The boys and girls common room is good to get together with friends to chill and study

Dislikes

Faculty being good they are sassy and might ignore for a time to teach you that not everything will be entertained
The principal is kinda rude and his speech is too long
Well other activities like sports isn't support properly

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem students are eligible for placement Companies visited are tcs and few others i don't remember their names The average package is 5 lpa and the highest is 13 lpa Mostly 80-90% of students gets placement as they do a placement training for us amd prepares us for the placement exams and interviews and all My personal plan is to go abroad for higher studies but i am going to sit for placement if i get good package then i might not go to abroad for higher studies

Likes

I really liked the infrastructure of the college its very nice and has good environment .
DPCOE is famous for its sports , it has massive turf where kids of 4 to 5 age has their matches
Also i like my department , as i am an automobile engineering we need most practical knowledge , this college offers a big workshop just for us an also yearly event for automobile students . Also clubs are there which has reputation of national rank

Dislikes

I kind of felt that faculty can be biased sometimes also do not care what and how we want to study .
Watchman can be little rude sometimes , also informing that their are exam coming in next week are to be informed at leat 10 days before. I have a suggestion of preparing acadamic calender of year

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

College campus, it is big, not much conjusted, good nature friendly
Freedom upto some level, no uniforms, no ID compulsion unless it is an exam
Events,every now and then there are events in college, cultural club is also too good here👍

Dislikes

Faculty is not much well qualified or well trained I would say
Hectic curriculum, boring schedules and quite unlivable
Labs and classrooms are too old, infrastructure is very old

Placement Experience:

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student,and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.

Not that much strict environment than many of the college.

Dislikes

Campus is huge but is mostly empty need of development.
Need of infrastructure and sports facility for students.
Need of contact no. Of emergency contact of the staff.

Placement Experience:

I talk with most of the senior and faculty and placement cell start of 3 rd year you will get internship opportunities and and in 4 th year you will get placement opportunity. But senior told me off campus placement preparation must be go on you will find good opportunity. Highest package is 12 lpa and average is 4 lpa is good for freshers.

Easy Money

Likes

Rhythm. It’s a cultural fest that this college hosts and it is the only time of the year where there’s a vast majority of events you could participate in.
TECHITHON. It’s a Tech fest that this college hosts and it has tech events which encourages students to grow and learn more as this aligns with our course.
Friends. The last and only good thing about this college I’d say are the friends I’ve made across the years.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. I’m not really a fan of the infrastructure that is being provided by this college.
Campus. The campus has many such areas that cannot be accessed by students and god knows for what reason.
Stupid Rules. One stupid rule i can think of is that students are not allowed to use their cell phones in the campus nor can the students use their headphones without being on their phones despite it being an Engineering college this makes no sense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course currently is in high demand and this is the course which offers the highest percentage of placements. Computer Engineering is the fundamental course one could pursue if they want to get into technology. We currently have 2 Internal Exams in each semester which prepares us well for the semester.

my college is in rural division so i liked the nature and environment of the college most and the college is have rural position and college have bus facility so all the student from poor family are is admitted in this college
my college have bus facility for the students
college have good campus in rural area and the college is good

college have no placement for the students
college having some times electricity short
college have some students water issue for drinking

Our course is the most important thing in learning and for growth, but the way my college is handling it , is far too better to be compared. Every week an exam is arranged for each chapters, Mcq's , theory and oral-based exams are arranged.

Hello, The infrastructure of the college is top class.
Their are multiple events in the college every month.
The faculty of the college are also well experienced as well as very friendly.

Dislikes

There are no AC in all the class only some of the class have AC

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage in my college is nearly 70-80%. The minimum package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest is nearly 33 LPA . The average package is 4-5 LPA. Many companies vists are college as our college is NAAC accredited which has a grade of A+.

Likes

Staffs were quite supportive and helpful.
Good faculty. They helped throughout semester and taught well.
There were placements from beginning of 4th year. So, it was quite good for me.

Dislikes

I don't liked the college campus. It's under construction. Hope will become better some day.
No events , no tech fests. No excitement
Good companies offering higher packages not visited college.

Placement Experience:

Companies started sending their placements form to college groups from starting of the 7th semester. For particular branches, particular companies visited. Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

i got 97.43percentile in MHT CET i have more college options in other locations like pune,Mumbai,sangli etc Other Colleges like coep,pict,etc are very good but i get the lower branch in top instute.
