TAPMI REVIEW

I applied and attended for TAPMI selection process as it is one of the renowned institutes in the country. Minimum criteria were 85 percentile for freshers (below 2 years work ex.) and profile-based selection for candidates greater than 2 years of work ex. The admission process was smooth and punctual. I had half an hour of moderated GD and 45 minutes of PI. The panelists were calm and supportive and I was asked a lot of situational questions which I dealt with expertise.

I chose PGDM ckre because I wanted to be exposed to all domains of management before choosing majors and minors. The student to faculty ratio is 16:1 The faculties are highly qualified and provide the students an ocean of knowledge and practical learning.

TAPMI provides 100% internship opportunities for students with 72 PPOs offered in 2020 as per the latest reports. Companies like JP Morgan, ITC, Wipro, EY, and many more come to hire from campus for internships with an average package of 45k - 50K

Tapmi provides 100% placement with an average salary of 11 LPA overall even in pandemic era. For experienced students, it provides placement of an average salary of 12.7 LP. Placement committee work tirelessly and dedicatedly for the the entire batch ro get placed.

The fees are on a slightly higher side if ROI is considered. But TAPMI provides various scholarships to it's selected 50 students across all domains. Scholarship Name: Dr. Ramdas Pai Merit Scholarship. Category - 1 to 5 There are over 100+ companies that comes to recruit every year

Apart from work and studies, TAPMI offered a lot of clubs and committees to work with and have a work-life balance. Atharva is the annual B-School fest of our institute. There are grounds for sports in college for sports like cricket, football, basketball, etc. The SCOT and SEG committee is responsible for a large number of social works which contribute to it's sustainability index.

PGDM at TAPMI is a residential programme so renting pg or flat outside is not allowed. The hostel facility as heard from seniors is good but slightly on a higher side when it comes to cost. Variety of food is there keeping in mind the diversity of students.

We had to go through a moderated GD process with 8 members and 2 moderators. The topic of the GD was "Data is the new oil. It's safety and concerns" Each student was given 2 minutes to start with and thereafter we had to take it forward and speak for 40 minutes. My interview was basically work-related where I was given different situations and was asked to find solutions.
