Remarks

1. One has to appear for the Lpunest exam or have given jee mains for getting admission in Btech. 2. Cut-off for Lpunest is equal to or greater than 30%. 3. Lpunest also provide scholarship. 4. On the basis of the marks you scored in Lpunest, there are some scholarship criteria. 5. 60% minimum in 12th with physics, maths, and English.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I'm pursuing Btech in CSE from LPU. I choose this course because it's in demand nowadays also will be future. The student to faculty ratio in lpu is 40:1. Most of the faculty are PhD graduates and some are non- PhD but they have a good knowledge of the subject and try their best to give appropriate knowledge to the students. There are 3 C.A's and, 1MTE and 1 ETE out of which 2 ca's are held before mte and one after mte. All these exams are not that much tough if one has listened to the class carefully then it would be easier for them, there are some websites which will help one to pass in the exams.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

As currently, I'm in my 3rd year so from now on they have started preparing ourselves for the placement exams by taking extra classes and also they made us register for various internships which we'll be doing after the sem end.

Placement Experience

3.5

From 3rd year a student can apply for an internship and placements depending on their CGPA. Highest placement package - 42LPA by Microsoft and minimum 4Lpa. Companies that visited the campus for placements are Amazon, Microsoft, Wipro, Capgemini, and many more. Approx 70 to 75 percent of students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees- 90000 per semester; Btech-Cse. Scholarship- Lpunest by giving this exam you can easily get a scholarship at least 10% as the exam is easy, national-level medalist(sports, or any other activity). Students can get a part-time job inside the campus like sitting in the admission office and attending the calls.

Campus Life

5

Campus life at Lpu is amazing, they have 600acres of campus which feels like you are in another city, it's a huge campus with lots of greenery all around the campus. Clean and camera all over and yes there are many food courts with a mall inside it know as unimall. Dominos, Canadian pizza, etc. There are a number of opportunities available if one has to develop skills and wish to learn something, there are 120 organizations/clubs which running inside the campus including a national and worldwide organization. So Lpu has the biggest library till now. Labs- oracle, Google, and many more.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel fees - 80000 non-ac per year for girls/boys-3 seater with electricity included. I personally suggest there's no need to go for ac rooms. for fresher's, they'll be asking for booking hostel or apartments. For non-fresher, you have an option for booking hostels. The rooms are clean and okay. Outside the campus, there are several pg available. It's safer and suggested to go for a hostel, it's worth it. Talking about the mess, sometimes the food is great especially the breakfast. Mess charge-standard mess with four meals - 32000

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
