In order get through the admissions of KLU,an individual have to take an seperate entrance test KLUEEE. This admission test is held on April or May every year. The notification releases in December month for the next academic year admission. Individuals who have cleared IIT JEE, AIEEE, EAMCET, KLUEE are eligible to get their branch in the admission on a priority basis(rank).

The course curriculum is more flexible to the real time industry needs. When a student graduates from KL University ,he/she will be capable of adapting to the industry work culture. The curriculum is not completely a theoretical approach but it is more of practical issues. The labs and the teaching methodology is quite different. There are dedicated industry experts and experienced lecturers for every course.

The college provides a specialised program called Practice school program.Companies recruit students to provide internships. The general stipend is quite less compared to the industry stands. There will be cultural fests ,technical fests which are the student initiatives. Apart form these ever years there are lot of conferences and training programs students are involved in. There are meetings and discussions which happens on advanced engineering concepts.

The Central Library of KL University holds a large number of materials to serve the whole University community. It holds materials relevant to the Engineering, Science & Humanities courses offered by the University, and includes Agricultural Engineering, Pharmacy, Law and specialist books and journals.

There would be main semester exams and internal exams.Internals weighs for 20% and semester exam external for 80%. It should not a mug up of theory a day before the exam. As long as students are consistent in concepts of the course and timely revision ,students would be able to clear the examinations easily.

Faculty members are very well experienced. They attempt to provide advanced knowledge and real time challenges on the concepts.Most University members holds Ph.D. or equivalent doctorate degree. They are very friendly and more flexible with students. Members of the faculty meet their professional and institutional commitments.
