Remarks
I did Diploma in Electronics Engineering from Government Polytechnic Mumbai. I got 83.04 %. The admission process was smooth. I also got scholarship, EBC where I need to pay only fees similar to what OBC Caste students are paying. And remaining cost govt will pay to the college. If you're from diploma you need atleast more than 80 percent but this criteria varies from year to year. But you need atleast more than 80 percent to just think about admission in KJSCE. The principal is too much helpful. She personally came for our admission process coz we wanted and scholarship. All the staff was also very helpful. College campus is totally clean and beautifully maintained.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you really want to pursue your career in electronics and only want to do electronics then you'll like it. If you're just doing this for no reason still you have many chances. I just want to do engineering and wanted a nice job. That's why I didn't focus on core knowledge. I started learning programming by myself. Career opportunities are very less in the Core domain.
Internships Opportunities
Every branch provides internal internship in various projects and domains. You'll also get external internships opportunities. There are competitions also internal and external to showcase your internship projects and win the prize.
Placement Experience
In your 4th sem, you're eligible for campus. If any company wants to give students PPO/PPI then 3rd year students are also applicable. AWS, LTI, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, EY, Deloitte, Capgemini, Accenture, Oracle, ZS associates, L&T this are some names of regular visitors. You'll get plenty opportunities in IT and Sales Marketing field.
Fees and Financial Aid
If your family income is less than 8lakh you're eligible for scholarship. Fees for general students were more than 1.5 lakh. Now in 2021 I think it's more than 2 lakh. For OBC back then it was 1 lkh. And for SC NT ST it was as many as 5th class student piggy bank has. We always used to say clg is wasting all money on gardening. Job assistance is very nice. Many companies will come more likely IT companies.
Campus Life
Every year plenty of events happened. Main event is Symphony. There are other events of every club like ISTE, EESA(electronic), MESA(mechanical), etc. Sport's event was also there. There is sport Event called Shield where all branches fight for that shield trophy. In that shield there are many sports were played.
