Best environment

i applied for all the colleges in my form and i got admission in shaheed bhagat Singh college as I consider it best one for commerce. Obviously, i didn't get selected for Shree ram college of commerce and i didn't preferred lady Shree ram because i wanted coed college. And i cleared the cut off of many colleges but among them shaheed bhagat singh was my best option as coed college also and obviously as administration also. i availed the obc quota and also many others colleges provides girls quota and sports quota etc but shaheed bhagat singh didnt provide girls quota so i availed only my obc quota. The admission criteria for my program (BCom Hons) were quite easy. You need to clear the cut off which is released by the university. Cut off goes up to 87-90% for obc . I got admission in the 4th cut-off in 91% marks. My percentage was 88.2 for 5 subjects but in my college (varies from college to college) 4 top subjects percentage was considered so my percentage of my best four was 91%.

i choose this course because my stream was commerce and i wanted to graduate from the same stream. The faculty was good, i will not say it was best but yes it was very good sometimes and it was also bad sometimes. The student's ratio was enough. My college was also crowded. The faculty was quite qualified as the professors were good but in my one subject, the teacher didn't came for almost 2-3 months and gave us the proxy attendance. semester exams were there in every 6 months for 3 years and in between internal were there. And it was not so difficult to pass if you are studying and also you can pass if you go through 10 years (books for du).

A lot of companies came and made good offers to the students. I did not sit in any of the placements so i do not know much of that. But my friends sit in the placements and one of my friends got placements in KPMG and one in Deloitte. So i will say many opportunities and options are provided by the college.

I did not attend placements so i do not have much knowledge about that. Mostly after 4th-semester students were eligible for placements. Many companies visited like Deloitte, KPMG, and many more as i do not know enough of the placements. I wanted a government job so i am preparing for that one right now.

fee structure was very very affordable. I guess my first-year fees were around 10000 and go down with every year. My last year's fees were something approximately 7000. i didn't get any job from the college because i did not attend placements as my choice but you can sit in placements and many good companies come with internships and jobs.

There were many little festivals melas like Diwali Mela , Holi Mela etc and one big fest which occurs every year. Many famous personalities come and it is really enjoyable if you are a fest person. All the books are available in the library There were many sports activities like cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball and many more. There are a lot of societies in the college formed by students themselves or the authorities and trust me it is an easy way to make friends. I Joined only 1 society which was more like an NGO.
