Remarks

The admission process is very much simple. You have to just give the exam of LPU NEST and for the scholarship. You can book your seat by giving a small amount of money. The minimum age should be 18 years for getting admission to Btech. The minimum mark for getting into CSE is you have to secure 50 % inboard. There is no counselling, you just need to with the branch you want you will get it. Scholarships are up to 50% off in total fees based upon your marks in LPU NEST.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Faculty members are well qualified and are very cooperative. They help you a lot. The curriculum is very interactive but the hectic schedule of the examination just break your taste. Laboratory classes are done regular which gives hands on experience in industrial training. They make your studying interactive. Faculties are quite young but educated.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Internships are provided from the third year in a BTech program to get hands on experience in Industrial Training Program. They provide a good stipend ranging from 10k to 80k. 80 k is provided by Amazon and Goldman Sachs. Most of the INTERNSHIPS are converted into PPO as it boosts the placements. Projects are started at beginning of the third year as its curriculum focus more on making good employees.

Placement Experience

4.5

Placements are satisfactory. As most of the CSE IT. ECE students are placed with a good package. 90 % of CSE IT ECE students are placed. But the game changes for core branches as they have to rely on IT companies like TCS COGNIZANT WIPRO for mass recruitment which provides a lo package. Now coming on figure. The highest is 42 LPA from MICROSOFT for SDE role .avaerage package is 6 LPA (CSE, IT, ECE) and 4 For other branches. Companies that visit are. MICROSOFT, AMAZON, INTEL IBM, GOLDMAN SACHS ETC.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess is a bit issue of this college, as it raises very frequently but the amenities that are provided by the college are worth for that, as it has a huge campus. Somewhat it's like big iits and nits campus. Fees can go up to high 2 lakh per year for undergrad students. Scholarships are provided on the basis of merit in lpu nest exam or board examination. Other government scholarships are also available. Students generally get some scholarships on the basis of lpu nest marks.

Campus Life

4.5

The campus is one of the best things about the college. It is well equipped designed, packed with all facilities. It's like a city resides inside the college. It has every amenity you can think of. A huge campus with beautiful gardens all around. Clubs are very much active and perform well organised with the curriculum. The annual fest is known as One India. It's one of the famous fests of northern India. At this time the college is in a different mood and its the perfect time to chill with friends.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel is well furnished. Mess is also good. Hostel charges 50 K per year for a 3 person sharing room which consists of a bed, cooler, geyser, an almirah, a balcony. The registration process is done at the time of admission we need to book the hostel by giving some amount of money . In the first year, the hostel is given randomly. Mess is also good but only vegetarian food is available. Rented rooms are available outside the college but as the college is huge you again need transport.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
