Remarks

I have chosen DTU as DTU is the second-best government college in Delhi. If you want to take admission in DTU you need to appear in jee main exam after which you can apply for DTU if your rank is good. There is no minimum age to take admission in DTU, the only thing is that you have to score good in jee main. After the Jee Mains exam, you need to appear in jac councelling which is conducting by jac delhi for 4 colleges is DTU,NSUT,IIITD,IGDTUW.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I have chosen civil engineering as civil engineering is one of the best branches for those who want to make their career in the government sector. Faculty is good in terms of knowledge but in terms of teaching faculty is not that good their teaching style is not satisfactory, Here you need to study by yourself. There is a mid-term exam and an end-term exam and you need to study only those things which are discussed by your respective teacher and if you study hard then you can score well in semester exams.

Internships Opportunities

4

For 3 years different companies are allowed to an internship for students. you have to do atleast 1 internship which boosts up your career. Try to do an internship that is related to your branch so that you have got an extra edge during placement interview and if you would apply for off campus this internship helps a lot there.

Placement Experience

4

Placement in DTU is very nice. Approx 70-80% students got placement in campus interview. From 3 year you are eligible for internship and from 4 year you are eligible for job. Lots of companies are come to DTU to offer lots of offer. Some major companies are Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Sprinkler, and many more. Highest Domestic package for CS ,IT students are approx 1 crore and average package is 15LPA. For other branches also placement are good and got an average package of 8LPA. After graduation I want to go for government sector by appearing in UPSC exam also i have an other option for appearing in GATE to go for M.TECH.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee Structure of DTU is not that good. Above 8 lakh rupees for 4 years is vet costly for a middle class family . Even DTU is a government aided college but fees of DTU is very high. Here you can apply for scholarship also which is delivered by government and even DTU also provides scholarship for needy students. So, you can apply for scholarship here if you fulfill the criteria.

Campus Life

5

In terms of Campus life, DTU has amazing campus life. In DTU you have got lots of opportunities that boost up your career. Engifest is one of the biggest rest conducted by DTU. The Library of DTU is also very huge, you can take any kind of book from here. The sports complex of DTU is also very big, you can apply here for various games like Cricket ground, football ground, badminton court, basketball ground and many more. the gym is also available for students here. In DTU there are lots of societies, clubs which is run by students, so you can take any society here for extracurricular activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.
