One of the best engineering College in India

In DTU the admission is taken through JAC Delhi registration. I also applied to IPU counseling but as dtu has better placements than IPu so I chose DTU. I availed ST quota of Delhi state. the admission criteria are very simple, first requirement is we have to give JEE mains exam and passing 12th with a minimum of 60% marks from any recognized board. After that Fill JAC Delhi Counseling form and after cutoffs, you may get admission in DTU.

I chose Civil engineering because of my personal interest, the faculty is too good and helpful. in core branches, the student ratio is not so good. Most of the faculty are from IIT's and are well qualified. The exams are of moderate difficulty level and could be passed fir study properly.

Companies like Paytm, american express,Amazon etc offered the best internships. In DTU many companies visit for both paid and unpaid internships for the students and hire them for their upcomming projects and plans.

Mainly the hiring of students for placements is started in 5th semester.There are maine 10-20 companies that visit i n the university for placements like paytm amazon ,google etc. The highest package of DTU was 1.27 Crore and the average CTC is about 11.17 lakhs PA. In DTU nearly 90-95% of tech students get placements in good companies.After Getting the degree i will persue for higher studies like MTECH or PHD and also try to getting government job.

The university provides scholarships to financially weak students upto 100% tuition fee refund. there are also some scholarship provides by the Delhi government. The university offers merit scholarships for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/minority and posts metric scholarship.

Dtu conducts many annual fest and tech fests like Engi fest, the biggest fest of Northern India held every year in the month of February.DTU has a great central library and almost each and every books and journal are available in the central library.DTU has an Open Air theater and a clean campus with a lot of greenery. DTU has a large sports complex with almost every game and sport. The sports complex consists of a large football and cricket ground and a running track too. It consists of an indoor Hall for playing Indoor games like badminton, chess, etc. A storts complex also has a gymnasium and lawn tennis court, basketball court. volleyball court etc. There are many social groups and clubs called societies in DTU like kalakrity, yuvaan etc
